Now playing a full complement of minutes, Giannis Antetokounmpo shouldn’t have trouble finding his way over this mark. When he plays 30+ minutes, Antetokounmpo has recorded at least 28 points in 28 out of 42 games, averaging 31.9 points per game.
The Nuggets are 23rd in defensive Net Rating, allowing the sixth-most points in the paint. Denver is also fifth in pace, while Milwaukee sits 11th, meaning we should see ample scoring opportunities in this contest.
The Mavericks are extremely undersized right now, playing 6-foot-6 P.J. Washington at the five due to injuries to Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively. Given the status of Dallas, it’s hard not to like Charlotte’s big man putting up some numbers today.
The primary obstacle will be the Hornets keeping it close, but if they can get Mark Williams at least 25 minutes, he should hit the more than on this number. When Williams sees at least 25 minutes, he has hit cleared this number in 12 out of 16 games, averaging a combined 29.2 points + rebounds per game. That includes a 13-point, 13-rebound performance against Dallas on January 20th.
Still without Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert, the Naz Reid show continues for Minnesota. Throwing out a game he played just 20 minutes, without Randle over the past month, Reid has recorded a combined 31+ points + rebounds in seven out of his last 10 games.
Two of those misses came against Houston (fourth in defensive Net Rating) and the Cavaliers (eighth in defensive Net Rating). With Anthony Davis shipped out of town, the Lakers don’t have a big to slow Reid down.
