Coming off that atrocious loss to San Antonio, look for the Knicks to respond in a big way against the Hornets. They’re still missing the heart and soul of their team, Jalen Brunson, which leaves Miles McBride the keys to facilitate. He has found at least five assists in four out of six games without Brunson this season
Without Cam Thomas and Cameron Johnson, someone will have to score for Brooklyn. May I interest you in Nets big man Nix Claxton? Indiana has allowed the third-most points in the paint, the region where he has scored 95% of his points.
Another team coming off a surprising loss, the Timberwolves can get immediate revenge facing the Pelicans on a back-to-back. Leading the charge per usual will be Anthony Edwards, who should fair better than the 5-of-19 he shot yesterday.
Even with subpar shooting, Edwards still finished with 29 points. Edwards has scored 27+ points in 21 of his last 30 games, averaging 30.4 per game during that span. New Orleans is also 29th in defensive Net Rating.
