Tuesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
This Season: 46-450
The Jazz are allowing the most points off three-pointers this season. Though Trae Young is the clear leading scorer for the Atlanta Hawks, this is a very good matchup for Bogdanovich. He attempts a lot of three-pointers each game, averaging 7.9 per game this month and 8.3 per game this season. He's only made over 4.5 three-pointers once this month, but this is also an elevated-odds play from PrizePicks.
To get a shooter at better odds than normal when he's going up against a defense that’s allowing opponents to knock down 39.2% of their shots from beyond the arc is too good to pass up. This is above Bogdanovich's season average, but it's worth the risk.
For Bogdanovich, we took a chance. For VanVleet, we're taking this prop despite it having worse odds than a normal PrizePicks play. There is no standard line listed for VanVleet at the moment, but if there was, it would be at 6.5. He hasn't' topped that number since Jan. 29.
The Thunder are a solid defensive team, and they're allowing just 26.8 assists per game this season. But VanVleet is averaging 8.0 assists per game this year. He's struggled to get anywhere near that average of late, but we're asking him to just barely do better than half of that tonight.
For our third prop, we're sticking with the Rockets vs. Thunder matchup. Green is averaging exactly 2.0 three-pointers made per game this season. But this month, he's averaging just 1.2 makes and 5.7 attempts per game. In four of his 10 games in February, he's made zero three-pointers, but he's attempted at least four shots from beyond the arc in every game.
The Thunder rank 12th in the league in opponent three-point percentage. Green doesn't have a clear advantage in this game, but he's still the second-leading scorer for the Rockets. Plus, he's knocked down at least two three-pointers in two of his last three games.
