Best NBA Player Predictions for PrizePicks
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Tuesday, March 21st's NBA action.
Fultz has a pretty good matchup with the Washington Wizards tonight, but with the Orlando Magic team at nearly full strength, there isn't much of a need for him to score more than 16.5. In two of his last three games, Fultz has scored at least 25. Prior to those performances, he scored more than 16 points just twice in five attempts.
Fultz's four 20-point performances in the month of March are the most he has had in any month of this NBA season. He has performances of 12 and 23 against the Wizards so far this season. Look for this matchup to be more similar to his first as he reverts back to his season average.
This number feels really high, which is why we're going against what the public inclination likely is and taking the Over. Capela is averaging 11.0 rebounds per game this season, and he is averaging 10.3 per in three games against the Detroit Pistons this year. And he has only had 12 or more rebounds in one of his last seven games. So why is this number so high?
Because Capela has been incredibly consistent against the Pistons this season. In his three games, he has gone for 10, 11, and 10. The Pistons are the second-worst shooting team in the league, and they allow 52.8 rebounds per game. Look for Capela to have another big night on the boards against the Pistons and clear this high number.
Trey Murphy III Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
Oddsmakers have simply not caught up to the new norm for Trey Murphy III. He is averaging 3.9 three-pointers made in the month of March, and he has made at least three from beyond the arc in all but one of his nine games.
The San Antonio Spurs are the worst team in the NBA at defending the three-point line. Their opponents are shooting 39.2% from deep on the year. Murphy is averaging nine attempts per game this month, and he has attempted fewer than seven from deep just once all month. His high-volume shooting and hot hand match up great against a bad defense.
