Here are the three best NBA PrizePicks plays for Tuesday, April 2.
Nikola Jokic has faced the Spurs twice this season. In the first meeting, he scored 39 points. In the second, he combined for 38 points and rebounds. In that game, he pulled down just seven boards, his lowest total of his last 10 games.
Though the Spurs’ defense has improved as the season has progressed, backing Jokic at this number is the right move. He's pulled down at least 10 rebounds in six of his last seven games and has scored 29+ points in four of his last six. The Spurs struggle in the paint and don't defend the three-point line well. That means huge things from Jokic.
Washington Wizards leading scorer Kyle Kuzma is out for tonight's game against the Bucks. That means Jordan Poole averages the most points of any Wizard on the court tonight. With Kuzma out on Sunday, Poole finished 4-of-12 from beyond the arc, scoring 22 points.
Poole averaged over eight attempted threes per game in March. He knocked down 2.9 per contest during that span. Though the Bucks are one of the best teams in the league, they also have many players on the injury report, including Damian Lillard. This game could be lower-scoring than the previous two meetings between these two teams but Poole will put up enough shots to hit this over.
Keegan Murray has knocked down at least four three-pointers in each of his last two games and at least three in four of his last five. But he still only averaged 2.3 makes from beyond the arc in March, his average for the entire season.
Murray has made three three-pointers in two games against the Clippers this season. All of those came in the same game as he finished the first meeting between these two teams 0-of-5. The Clippers don't have a great three-point defense but they're more than capable of holding Murray below his season average. This could be a push but there is almost no risk in this going over.
