Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 42-30
De’Anthony Melton Over 16.5 Points+Assists
Joel Embiid will be absent in this contest, opening up the door for someone to step up. In four games without Embiid this season, Melton has excelled. He's averaging 17.3 points and four assists per game and has a PA log of 19, 23, 23, and 20 across this small sample. With his Points+Assists line set at 16.5, he should be able to go over this mark, even in a tough matchup against the Magic. They're catching Orlando on a back-to-back, however, so they should be able to exploit their tired legs.
Pascal Siakam Over 25.5 Points
The last time these teams faced each other, Pascal Siakam exploded for a season-high 39 points, and there's no reason to think he couldn't put that crooked number up once again. Washington owns the worst defensive net rating, is first in pace, and is allowing the second-most points in the paint this year. Siakam does most of his scoring from inside the paint (61%), leading Toronto in scoring from that vicinity.
Mikal Bridges Over 21.5 Points
This game profiles to be pretty close with the Bucks just three-point favorites on the road. If the Nets are going to pull off the upset, they're going to need Mikal Bridges to do his part offensively. Generally speaking, he has hovered around this point prop throughout the season, averaging 21.7 points per game. He has scored 20+ points in 18-of-29 games and put up 31 against Milwaukee back on November 6th. The Bucks are allowing the third-most points per game to shooting guards and are fourth in pace as well.
