Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
PrizePicks record: 74-55-1
Pascal Siakam Over 21.5 Points
Spicy P makes his return to Toronto for the first time since being traded to Indiana. He will undoubtedly want to put on a show for his former fans and should have zero qualms about making that happen. The Raptors own the second-worst defensive net rating since the end of December, coinciding with them trading defensive stalwart OG Anunoby away to the Knicks. Since Siakam left, they have also allowed the second-most points in the paint, exactly where Siakam does most of his work.
Victor Wembanyama Over 3.5 Blocks + Steals
I’m going right back to the well on Wemby and his stocks, following his 10-block, two-steal, triple-double in just 29 minutes. He is now over this mark in 24 of his last 32 games, averaging 3.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game across this span. He has an eight-foot wingspan. What more is there really to say?
Jalen Johnson Over 25.5 Points+Rebounds
I love this spot for Jalen Johnson. The Hawks will be without both Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu in this one, setting up JJ to do most of the dirty work inside the paint. He is second on the team in rebounds (8.5 per game), and points inside the paint, where he has done 61% of his scoring. This is an amazing matchup taking on the league’s worst defense in Charlotte, who is 26th in rebounding percentage and 24th in opponent points in the paint. Look for Johnson to go off in this one.
