There are only five days left of the regular season before the Play-In Tournament starts on Tuesday, April 11. The exact playoff seeding still needs to be shaken out over these last couple of games, but we generally know which teams will be in the playoffs. Player prop analysis gets a little tough around this time of the year with so many teams calling it quits, and resting players, and at the time of this writing, there aren’t many NBA props on PrizePicks. With that being said, there will still be three angles to consider for today’s games.
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for NBA action on Wednesday, April 5.

Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions
This Season: 25-24
Pascal Siakam Over 21.5 Points
If there’s one team or player you can trust to play significant minutes, it’s the Raptors and Pascal Siakam. Spicy P has led the NBA in minutes per game over the last two seasons and Toronto is trying to leapfrog Atlanta for the 8th seed right now. The Celtics are coming off a hard-fought loss in Philadelphia last night where Joel Embiid absolutely dominated for 52 points. I’m not saying Siakam is getting a 50-burger, but he should be able to muster up at least 22 points.
Pascal has already shown he can score against the Celtics twice this season, scoring 29 points in each matchup. He’s averaging 24.2 points per game on the season and has cleared this in seven of his last 10 games. We’re definitely getting a bit of a PrizePicks advantage here, seeing that this line is at -140 over at DraftKings and 22.5 at FanDuel. Bank on Spicy P getting it done in Boston tonight.
Jonas Valanciunas Over 12 Rebounds
The Pelicans are in the thick of the Western Conference seeding shuffle and currently lie in the 8th seed. Barring a couple of twists and turns, they could end up in the 5th, as they are just 1.5 games back of the Warriors. Tonight they take on the Grizzlies, who have been a favorite team of mine to target over the past couple of months. Without Steven Adams in the fold, Memphis has been destroyed on the glass by opposing big men.
They have allowed the 2nd most rebounds to Centers over the last 30 days and Valanciunas has gobbled up at least 12 rebounds in nine of his last 12 games. Without Zion in the fold, he is clearly the rebounding alpha on the squad and should have plenty of rebounding opportunities against the Grizzlies who are 6th in Pace.
Quentin Grimes Over 16.5 Points
Grimes has been on fire of late and with both Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson out, he should have no trouble getting to at least 17 points. There aren’t many other true scorers on this Knicks squad without their top two weapons available. His matchup against the Pacers looks fantastic as well. They are 26th in Defensive Net Rating and have allowed the 3rd most points to Shooting Guards on the year.
Grimes has cleared this number in four of his last six games averaging 20.8 points per game. A lot of that scoring has been from his excellent three-point shooting. He is averaging nearly five three’s made per game on 10 attempts beyond the arc over this small sample. Keep in mind, he hasn’t played a game with both Randle and Brunson out this season. Indiana has allowed the 5th highest three-point rate to opponents this year, so look for Grimes to keep the hot shooting going tonight.
