After the week-long All-Star break, the NBA is finally back in action on Thursday night. There will be nine games starting at 7 p.m. Betting after a one-week break can be difficult, as players could either be well-rested and put up great numbers, or they could be rusty as they get back into the swing of regular-season action.

Thursday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Bets
Here are the best PrizePicks plays for NBA action on Thursday, February 23.
Joel Embiid is still the second-leading scorer in the NBA, but February has been his least productive month since six games in October. In November, he averaged 34.1 points per game, in December, he averaged 35.4, and in January, he averaged 34.9. In February, he is averaging 30.5 points per game, and he has yet to score 40 in a single game.
Embiid comes off the break with a juicy matchup against a team he scored 35 points against earlier this season. The Memphis Grizzlies are only allowing 112.2 points per game and 47.1 points per game in the paint. But Embiid is a player that the Grizzlies don't have an answer for, and he is going to come out of the break and come close to putting up his first 40-point performance of the month.
This may seem foolish since Jokic has attempted just seven three-pointers in seven games this month, especially when five of those attempts came in the same game. However, on the season, Jokic is averaging 0.8 made three-pointers on 2.2 attempts per game. In January, he shot 53.8% from deep and was putting up an average of 2.2 three-pointers per contest.
The last time Jokic played the Cleveland Cavaliers, he went 3-4 from deep. If the Cavaliers aren't able to guard him on the three-point line, then he is going to easily knock down multiple three-pointers again. For this number to be at 0.5, even with what Jokic has done recently, is a gift.
Horford is averaging 6.2 rebounds per game this season, and he has pulled down at least six in four consecutive games. This positive stretch followed a four-game span that saw him pull down five or fewer in each contest.
However, we like him to make it five in a row with six or more rebounds, mainly because he is going up against one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA. The Indiana Pacers are 25th in the league in field goal percentage, which will give Horford plenty of opportunities to pull down some boards as long as he plays his usual 28-35 minutes.
