Chicago Bulls vs. New York Knicks
Leg #1: Bulls +14.5 (-112)
It has been a forgettable season for the Bulls, who have lost eight of their last 10 and five in a row. They last played on Wednesday, losing 145-126 to the Pacers (yes, the Pacers) in Chicago. As for the Knicks, they have had their issues of late, losing three in a row before getting back on the right side of the scoreboard against Memphis on Wednesday.
However, the Knicks have failed to cover in eight of their last 10 games, while the Bulls have covered in six of their last 10. The Knicks will win, but not by a blowout.
Leg #2: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 11.5 Rebounds (-108)
Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 11.9 boards per game, had 11 against the Grizzlies on April 1st, and he averaged 12.5 rebounds per game in March. Me missed this mark in three of his last four games but went over it in 10 of his last 15 and in one of two against the Bulls this season. However, the Bulls were 28th in the league in opponents’ rebounds last month.
Leg #3: Josh Giddey Over 9.5 Assists (-102)
Josh Giddey has gone over this number in his last six games and in 11 of his last 12. But just once in three games versus the Knicks. Opponents recorded 25.9 assists per game against the Knicks last month (13th-best). But Giddey's consistency is hard to ignore here. If the Knicks were stingy, I'd hesitate, but since they’re more of a middle-of-the-pack team, I'm taking the over.
Parlay Odds: +414 - A $100 wager will result in a $514 payday; your stake plus $414 in winnings.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Atlanta Hawks
Leg #1: Hawks -16.5 (-110)
Atlanta is one of the hottest teams in the NBA, winning 17 of their last 19 games. Brooklyn has lost 11 of its last 12 games and has averaged 102 points per game over their last 15. It's a big spread, but against this Brooklyn team, they may have it covered by halftime.
Leg #2: Jalen Johnson Under 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-114)
Jalen Johnson went under this number in his last two games and over it in seven of his last 15 games. Johnson averages 22.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game, so we know it is something he is plenty capable of doing. Against this dreadful Nets team, it should be easy.
But I think he'll get pulled from the game too early for him to cover it.
Leg #3: Over 225.5 Points (-110)
Brooklyn has been playing terribly, but they've been good for 102 points per game over the last 15 games, while Atlanta has been averaging 122.2 points per game. But the Hawks scored more than 122 points in 11 of their last 15 games. As long as Brooklyn nets 100 points, Atlanta will pick up the rest.
Parlay Odds: +512 - A $100 wager will result in a $612 payday; your stake plus $512 in winnings.
