Oklahoma City Thunder (-2800) at Washington Wizards (+1300) | O/U 229.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Wizards +20.5 (-105)
- Leg 2: Over 229.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Chet Holmgren 10+ Points (-650)
- Leg 4: Chet Holmgren 7+ Rebounds (-288)
The defending NBA champion Thunder (55-15) head to the nation’s capital to tangle with the Wizards (16-53) at Capital One Arena at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Oklahoma City has rattled off 10 consecutive victories, including a 121-92 victory at Brooklyn last time out on Wednesday as a 19.5-point favorite as the Under (216.5) cashed. While OKC has been hot straight up, the Thunder are just 2-8 against the spread (ATS) in the 10-game win streak. The Under is 4-0 in the past four games, and 8-1 across the previous nine in the series, too.
While Washington has struggled, losing 14 in a row, it is a respectable 3-2 ATS in the past five games, while the Over is 2-1 in the past three games, 5-2 across the previous seven outings, and 8-3 in the past 11 contests. As an underdog of 14 or more points, Washington is 3-1 ATS in the past four tries, while going 5-3 ATS across the previous eight in the situation.
These teams haven’t meet since Oct. 30 at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, with the Thunder pounding the Wizards 127-108 as a 15.5-point favorite while the Over (230.5) cashed. OKC has won seven in a row in the series, while covering the past four, all as a 15.5-point favorite or higher. The Over has cashed in eight straight meetings in the series, too.
Let’s roll with the Wizards to keep it within 20 points, though. That’s a huge number in the NBA, especially for a road favorite. Additionally, based on the series trends, and the trends for Washington lately, we’ll go high on the total.
As far as the player props are concerned, Washington gives up 123.7 points per game (PPG), ranking 29th in the NBA. Teams are hitting 48.0% (25th) against the Wizards from the field, and 36.3% (22nd) from behind the 3-point line. We’re going to keep it simple, though. Chet Holmgren has managed at least eight rebounds in nine of the past 10 games. He is a good bet to get to at least eight boards, but he also is worth a play to get to at least 10 points. He has double-digit point totals in eight consecutive outings.

Cleveland Cavaliers (-198) at New Orleans Pelicans (+164) | O/U 234.5 (-112/-108)
- Leg 1: Cavaliers -4.5 (-108)
- Leg 2: Over 234.5 Points (-112)
- Leg 3: Evan Mobley to Record a Double-Double (-142)
The Cavaliers (43-27) and the Pelicans (25-46) meet at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Cleveland won the first meeting at Rocket Arena on Dec. 23, posting a 141-118 victory while covering a 9.5-point spread as the Over (248.5) cashed. The Cavaliers have won and covered four in a row in this series, while the Over is 3-0 in the past three meetings, while going 5-1 across the previous six in the series. The Cavs are also 6-1 ATS across the past seven meetings since Jan. 16, 2023.
The Cavs have won two in a row, but they’re having an awfully hard time against the number. Cleveland has failed to cover three straight, while going just 1-5-1 ATS across the past seven outings, and 4-9-1 ATS across the previous 14 contests since Feb. 20. The Over has cashed in four of the past five outings, however, and the total has gone high in seven of the past nine games on the road.
For New Orleans, it has cashed in three consecutive games, while going 5-1 straight up (SU) in the past six games. The Pelicans have covered eight in a row, and 12 of the past 14 games, too. The Under has connected in five consecutive games, as well.
Despite the Under trend for New Orleans, we’re going to go high on the total based on the series trends, as well as those of Cleveland. In addition, let’s roll with the Cavaliers laying the little bit of points, as they try to cool off the Pelicans against the number.
We’re going to keep it simple on the player props, too. Evan Mobley is a strong option to secure a double-double. He is averaging 23.7 PPG and 13.4 RPG with three consecutive double-doubles, and with the Pelicans struggling on D, Mobley is a good bet to get to at least 10 and 10 again, especially if Donovan Mitchell (eye) is out. Spida is officially questionable.
