NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Tuesday (2/24)

With the All-Star break behind us, the NBA regular season is back in full swing. Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to pick up a huge win over the New York Knicks. Can Donovan Mitchell lead his team to victory? And then, what should we expect from the Minnesota Timberwolves as they battle an injury-riddled Portland Trail Blazers team?

Below are the best NBA same-game parlays (SGP) for Tuesday, February 24th.

Knicks vs. Cavaliers Same Game Parlay

Leg #1: Donovan Mitchell Over 27.5 Points (-103)

Donovan Mitchell has only scored more than 20 points once in his three games since the All-Star break. However, in that one contest, he scored 32 points. Before the All-Star break, he dropped at least 29 points in four consecutive games.

Mitchell is averaging 28.6 points per contest this season, and he's scored at least 31 points in both of his games against the Knicks this season. His struggles over his last three games are why this price is so low, so take advantage of this opportunity while you can.

Leg #2: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 11.5 Rebounds (+123)

Karl-Anthony Towns has gone four consecutive games without grabbing at least 12 rebounds, but in three of those four contests, he recorded 11 boards. He's averaging 11.8 rebounds per game, which is the second-most in the NBA, and he has at least 10 rebounds in 11 of his last 12 games.

The Cavaliers are allowing the 14th-fewest rebounds per game this season, so I love Towns for this price with his floor as high as it is. After all, he recorded 14 rebounds the last time these two teams played, and grabbed 11 boards in their first meeting.

Leg #3: Cavaliers Under 117.5 Points (-112)

Considering the Cavaliers are playing at home, I expect them to win this game. But I also expect them to score fewer points than the oddsmakers expect. The Knicks are allowing just 111.8 points per game, which ranks seventh in the NBA. They've held three of their last four opponents to 106 points or fewer, holding two of those teams to double-digits.

The Cavaliers are averaging the third-most points per game this season (119.7), but they've scored 118 or fewer in three consecutive games, and they've already scored just 111 against the Knicks this season.

Parlay Odds: +700

Timberwolves vs. Trail Blazers Same Game Parlay

Leg #1: Timberwolves -6.5 (-108)

These two teams met on February 11th, and the Timberwolves never trailed on their way to a 133-109 victory. While that game was played in Minnesota, and tonight’s game will be played in Portland, the Trail Blazers also had Deni Avdija on the court in that contest. Avdija, who is averaging 24.4 points per game, is out tonight.

The Timberwolves have won three of their last four games, with all of their wins coming by at least 11 points. Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers have scored 103 or fewer points in back-to-back games, losing at home to the Denver Nuggets 157-103 during that span.

Leg #2: Julius Randle Over 20.5 Points (-110)

The last time these two teams played, Julius Randle scored 41 points. While it was just one of two games where he's scored more than 20 points in February, it showed what he's capable of in the right matchup. Despite his recent struggles, Randle is still averaging 22.1 points per game this season.

The Trail Blazers are allowing 118.2 points per game, which ranks 23rd in the league. Randle only scored 19 in the first meeting versus the Trail Blazers. However, that’s still a solid enough performance that I'll take him below his season average against a team he just scored a season-high against less than two weeks ago.

Leg #3: Jrue Holiday Over 6.5 Assists (+115)

Jrue Holiday has recorded seven assists in every other game over his last seven contests. He just recorded seven against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, so if recent trends continue, then that means he's going to record fewer than seven assists tonight. However, while Holiday only dished out five assists the last time he faced the Timberwolves, Deni Avdija was also on the court during that game.

Avdija leads the Trail Blazers with 6.6 assists per game this season. With him off the floor, there's no doubt that Holiday, who is averaging 6.3 assists per game, is going to be the key piece of this offense in getting his teammates involved. And what makes me love this even more, especially for this price, is that Holiday already recorded seven assists in a game against the Trail Blazers earlier this season.

Parlay Odds: +750
