Golden State Warriors (+180) at Los Angeles Lakers (-210) | O/U 233.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Warriors +6.5 (-106)
- Leg 2: Under 233.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Yaxel Lendeborg 10+ Points (-520)
- Leg 4: Sandro Mamukelashvili 4+ Rebounds (-400)
The Warriors open their 2026-27 campaign against the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena, and L.A. begins the post-LeBron James era. The Lakers won and covered the final three meetings last season, including 16-plus-point wins in the final two meetings in San Francisco. That was against a very banged-up Warriors team, however. Golden State looks to fire out of the chute here.
The Warriors are expected to be an NBA Play-In tournament team this season, struggling with everything. Steph Curry is still Steph Curry, and he’ll always be a handful. But the Warriors will begin the season with Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody on the shelf.
The good news is that the team has some young players ready to give the team a boost. Yaxel Lendeborg is an exciting rookie ready to make a splash, while Brandin Podziemski is a young player who emerged as a star last season.
The Lakers are expected to have a winning record and, if all goes well, will likely be in the mix for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Luka Doncic is the straw that stirs the drink for L.A. They need him to stay healthy. His hamstring injury last season derailed James’ swan song in L.A. Austin Reaves will pair with Doncic, and they’ll look to Walker Kessler to clog the paint. He is a rebounds-and-blocks machine.
I like the Warriors to keep it within three buckets here, and we’ll go low on the total, as both teams take a little time to get their sea legs.
For player props, don’t play these legs on their own. It’s too much risk for not enough reward. But, as part of a multi-leg parlay, it’s a strong option to get us north of the 4X hump. We’ll take rookie Lendeborg to simply reach double digits in points, while looking to new big man Sandro Mamukelashvili to grab at least four boards.
Parlay Odds: +457
Sacramento Kings (+160) at Los Angeles Clippers (-190) | O/U 227.5 (-110/-110)
- Leg 1: Kings +5.5 (-115)
- Leg 2: Under 227.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Darius Acuff Jr. Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)
The Kings and Clippers meet at the Intuit Dome at 10:30 p.m. ET in a Pacific Division clash.
Sacramento is projected to be the worst team in the NBA, as rookie Darius Acuff Jr. can only do so much. He’ll be a very good player, but he has little help around him.
There are some key pieces. Zach LaVine, Malik Monk and Domantas Sabonis are good players, and Keegan Murray can be productive. But depth will be a huge issue for the Kings. Don’t expect a big step forward for the Kings.
The Clippers won’t be much better. The offseason was tumultuous, with the owner and top executives suspended. Brandon Ingram and Max Strus also start the season with serious injuries, so L.A. is already starting behind the 8-ball before the first tip. Remember, Kawhi Leonard isn’t in town anymore, either. This will be a team that struggles to score, and I like the Kings catching the points here while going low on the total.
And, as mentioned, the Kings’ offense is Acuff. He’ll have a lot on his shoulders as a rookie. We’ll go with the over on his points + rebounds + assists combo prop in his very first NBA game.
Parlay Odds: +525
