      Wednesday's Best NHL Player Props

      (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Tage Thompson 4+ Shots on Goal (-120)

The Flyers have allowed 32.3 shots on goal (SOG) per game, ranking 31st in the league. While Philadelphia has been decent at holding down the opposition, its problems stem from its inability to generate much offense. Philadelphia has managed just 1.5 goals per game, ranking dead last in the NHL.

Tage Thompson is a good bet to get to at least four SOG, although that number seems awfully high. But he takes a lot of shots, and he has managed 11 total shots in the past two games, posting five or more in each. Thompson has reached six shots five times in the past seven outings, and four or more SOG in seven of his nine contests.

      Jack Quinn 1+ Points (-150)

Buffalo’s Jack Quinn has scored three goals in his last two games, and he has three goals and seven points with a +5 rating on 10 SOG in his last four outings. He has two power-play assists and a shorthanded goal during the span.

Quinn is a good bet to get at least one point against the Flyers, as he’s been red-hot lately.

Brady Tkachuk Anytime Goal Scorer (+150) & Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+100)

Brady Tkachuk was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Florida Panthers in June in a deal that included two first-round picks in the 2026 NHL Draft and an assortment of other draft picks. As a result, Tkachuk will skate with his brother, Matthew Tkachuk, in South Florida.

This will be Brady’s first game back in Ottawa since that trade after eight seasons with the Senators. The former Ottawa captain has recorded six goals and 10 points in the past four games, including natural hat tricks in Columbus and at home against Vancouver. We don’t need the hats to be flying, not that they would be in Ottawa from the scorned fans. We just need one goal today, and it’s a good play at plus-money odds.

As an added bonus, we’ll take Tkachuk to get to at least four shots on goal (SOG), especially at even money. He’ll want to put on a show in his return.

      Drake Batherson 1+ Points (-132)

Drake Batherson is tied for second on the team with six points, joining Claude Giroux and Shane Pinto. That pales in comparison to Tim Stutzle, who paces the team with five goals and 12 points. Batherson also has a power-play goal, and he has four goals this season, second only to Stutzle.

Last season, Batherson had three goals, including a power-play goal, and a -1 rating on four shots on goal (SOG) in three meetings with the Panthers.
