NFL Week 14 closes out with a Monday Night Football interdivisional tilt between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Eagles are coming off back-to-back losses against the Cowboys and Bears, while the Chargers routed the Las Vegas Raiders 31-14 to improve to 8-4 out of a Week 12 bye.
Oddsmakers value the Eagles as a -2.5 point road favorite at SoFi Stadium, while the point total is set to 41.5. Los Angeles is 4-1 SU in its last five games played. Philadelphia is 2-2 since its Week 9 bye, failing to score more than 21 points in any of these matchups.
My NFL Monday Night Football Player Props & Bets (Week 13) between the New York Giants and New England Patriots settled a profitable 2-1. Jaxson Dart went under 205.5 passing yards for a sweat-free winner, while TreVeyon Henderson wound up barely going over 63.5 rushing yards for a second winning wager. The lone loss came on a Giants wideout, Darius Slayton, to go over 2.5 receptions, finishing with two receptions on three targets.

Best NFL Monday Night Football Player Prop Picks
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
We’ve seen Jalen Hurts sail over 187.5 passing yards during the Eagles’ two-game losing skid. Don’t expect that trend to continue, especially against a Chargers secondary that has held five straight quarterbacks under 188 total passing yards.
Hurts has gone under 187.5 passing yards in six of 12 starts for Philadelphia this season. Los Angeles has been more susceptible to giving up explosive run plays compared to defending the pass, so let’s fade Hurts as a passer and bet on the reigning Super Bowl MVP to go under 187.5 passing yards.

We’re fading Hurts as a passer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t take the over on his total rushing yards line. Oddsmakers currently have Hurts’ rushing yards total set to 28.5.
The Eagles’ franchise quarterback has logged over 28.5 rushing yards in three consecutive games. He’s also gone over this number in half (6) of his starts in 2025.
Los Angeles has improved greatly on defense, but it remains more vulnerable against the run, giving up 192 rushing yards to the Jaguars in Week 11. Philadelphia needs to establish the run to regain its identity, especially without RT Lane Johnson available in pass protection due to injury.
Let’s bet on Hurts to gain a few chunk plays against the Chargers as a ball carrier to extend his streak of going over 28.5 rushing yards for a fourth straight game on Monday Night Football.

Since we’re expecting Philadelphia OC Kevin Patullo to dial up more runs for a struggling Eagles offense, RB Saquon Barkley should be the focal point in this matchup against Los Angeles. Barkley has been held under 100 rushing yards in 11 of 12 games in 2025, regressing from his highly productive 2024 campaign.
Despite the lack of production, Barkley has logged over 17.5 rush attempts in seven of 12 starts this season. He recorded 22 carries against the Packers and 26 carries against the Lions, which were both low-scoring victories for the Eagles.
Expect Philadelphia to attempt to slow the game down and play at its preferred pace. The Eagles will attempt to rack up yardage through their run game to exploit Los Angeles and its leaky run defense. This means Barkley should return to his workhorse role in the Eagles’ backfield.
Let’s bet on Barkley to finish with over 17.5 rush attempts against the Chargers on Monday Night Football.
