Best NFL Monday Night Football Player Prop Picks
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Liam Coen’s arrival in Jacksonville has transformed the offense into a much more efficient run-centric scheme. Travis Etienne is the main beneficiary, as the Jaguars’ RB1 has logged two games with over 120 rushing yards.
Kansas City’s defense has been vulnerable against the run, surrendering 4.9 YPC, ranked bottom-five in the NFL. Etienne will likely be fed carries to help keep Jacksonville’s offense ahead of schedule, while also preventing the Chiefs’ offense from getting onto the field.
Through four games, Etienne has 16-14-16-19 total carries in each outing. Oddsmakers have set Etienne’s total rush attempts line at 14.5. This will go over as long as the Jaguars’ gameplan to establish the run doesn’t get thrown out of the window due to an early deficit.
Bet over 14.5 rush attempts for Etienne in a plus-matchup on Monday Night Football.

This prop is correlated with the first player prop on Travis Etienne. Jacksonville QB Trevor Lawrence has played better in 2025 and a lot of that is due to playing with a competent rushing attack. Lawrence completed his first turnover-free game during the Jaguars’ 26-21 win over the 49ers, finishing 21-31-174-1 as a passer.
Lawrence has finished with under 212.5 passing yards in two of four games played this season. The exceptions came against Cincinnati and Houston. Lawrence was involved in a back-and-forth shootout against a bad Cincinnati pass defense in Week 2. In Week 3, he barely went over this number in a low-scoring win against Houston, finishing with 222 passing yards.
The Chiefs’ pass defense ranks top-ten in the NFL in terms of net yards gained per pass attempt at 5.7. They’ve recorded three interceptions and allowed only four passing touchdowns. Kansas City has also held opposing quarterbacks to 743 total passing yards, seventh-best across the league.
Coen will attempt to take the football out of Lawrence’s hands as much as possible, especially given the matchup against a porous Chiefs run defense. Bet on Trevor Lawrence to finish under 212.5 passing yards.
Jacksonville’s run defense is stout, allowing one total rushing touchdown and 3.9 YPC. Kansas City’s rushing attack has not been established with Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt. Now that WR Xavier Worthy is back in the lineup, expect Chiefs head coach Andy Reid to keep dialing up passes for Patrick Mahomes.
The Jaguars’ defensive weakness has been against the pass. While Jacksonville leads the league in turnovers, including nine interceptions, they’ve also allowed seven passing touchdowns. It’s been feast or famine for this Jaguars secondary.
Mahomes is coming off of a four touchdown game against Baltimore. The Ravens’ defense is playing poorly right now, so Jacksonville may stack up better against Mahomes and keep this game competitive. However, Kansas City’s primary way of moving the football and scoring touchdowns has been through the air, so don’t expect this to stop on Monday Night Football.
Bet on Mahomes to go over 1.5 passing touchdowns and lay the juice at -138 odds.
