This week's “Monday Night Football” matchup features two teams coming off terrible losses.
The Las Vegas Raiders lost 30-12 to Tyson Bagent and the Chicago Bears, while the Detroit Lions lost 38-6 to the Baltimore Ravens in a game that was probably even worse for them than the final score suggests.
Jimmy Garoppolo is back under center for the Raiders tonight. How does that affect tonight's props?

When Jared Goff plays at Ford Field, he tends to have fantastic games. But 270.5 passing yards is a lot, even in the comfort of his temperature-controlled dome.
Goff has thrown for more than 270 yards just twice this season. One of his performances came in the Lions' 37-31 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and the other came in the Lions' 20-6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the game against the Bucs, David Montgomery was injured mid-game, and Jahmyr Gibbs was inactive.
Assuming no in-game injuries, Goff shouldn't come anywhere near this number. The Raiders are allowing just 199 passing yards per game. While they've faced some of the worst quarterbacks in football, they did hold Justin Herbert to 167 yards. The Lions are heavy favorites in this game. If they get out a big lead, then Goff won't even be throwing the ball late.
After a frustrating performance in Week 6 against the New England Patriots, Davante Adams voiced the need for the Raiders to include him more in the offense. Last week, with Brian Hoyer starting, Adams was the focal point of the Raiders' passing game. He was targeted 12 times, pulling in seven receptions. However, he only managed 57 yards in the game.
The Lions are allowing nearly 260 passing yards per game. With Garoppolo back, Adams' targets should be more meaningful on Monday night. Adams has at least six catches in five of his seven games. Yet, he only went for 75 or more yards in three of those games. Adams' PrizePicks yardage line is set at 74.5 tonight. We'd be shocked if he doesn't get at least six catches. We wouldn't be shocked if he fails to hit 75 yards.
Jahmyr Gibbs scored his first NFL touchdown last week. This week, he's going to have his first 100-yard rushing game. Gibbs carried the ball 11 times for 68 yards last week. The only other time he carried the ball more than 10 times, he went for 80.
He's averaging 4.9 yards per carry, so getting him up around 15 carries is key. But even if he gets fewer attempts than that, he should still have success against the Raiders’ run defense. They're allowing 4.4 yards per carry and 129.0 yards per game on the ground.
The Lions should be playing this game from in front. But even if they're not, Gibbs will be an integral part of this offense from start to finish. If the Lions hadn't fallen behind 28-0 last week, he likely would have had close to 20 carries. When things break the Lions' way tonight, the door will open for Gibbs to have a huge performance.
