NFL Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Eagles vs. Packers (Week 10)
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers
- Leg 1: Over 45.5 Points (-115)
- Leg 2: Saquon Barkley Under 75.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
- Leg 3: Jordan Love 220+ Passing Yards (-170)
The NFC North is one of the closest races in the league, with the first- and last-place teams separated by only two losses as of Week 10. The Packers came into the weekend in first place, but now they have to go the rest of the season without one of their bigger pieces of their offense. In their Week 9 loss to the Panthers, tight end Tucker Kraft suffered a season-ending torn ACL. That is an enormous loss for the pass game, as Kraft leads the team in receiving yards (489) and receiving touchdowns (six).
This is tough for Jordan Love, who struggled against Philadelphia last year in the NFC Wild Card game, as he threw for only 212 yards, with zero touchdowns and three interceptions. That was against the Eagles’ defense, which was second in passing yards allowed (186.9). However, this season’s defense has not been as successful, as they are just 18th in passing yards allowed per game (215.9). Love has been exceptional at home, throwing for over 200 passing yards in three straight home games.
Last year, the Eagles were a top-five scoring offense and defense en route to a Super Bowl title, but they have not been as dominant this season. The offense ranks a respectable 10th in points scored (26), but the defense ranks 19th (23.1). They were busy at the trade deadline upgrading that side of the ball, including acquiring Dolphins defensive end Jaelan Phillips and Ravens cornerback Jaire Alexander, who spent the first seven years of his career with the Packers.
Some of their offensive players have been highly disappointing, none more evident than Saquon Barkley. Last year, we were talking about whether Barkley could break the single-season rushing record, and he became the ninth player to rush for 2,000+ yards; however, he's regressed this season. He's only rushed for more than 100 yards once this season, and his 519 rushing yards rank 16th. The Packers are second in rushing yards allowed per game (89.4) and allow the fifth-fewest yards per carry (4.0).
Both teams have recently played in higher-scoring games, with the Eagles going over their projected total in five out of their last six games, while the Packers have gone over in four of their previous five. This could turn into an offensive battle.
Parlay Odds: +457
