NFL Parlays & Picks: Best Bets for Week 2 (2025)

NFL Parlays & Picks: Best Bets for Week 2 (2025) - Joe Burrow

The 2025 NFL season saw most teams get off to a slow start, with the majority of games finishing under their point total line. The biggest upset featured Justin Herbert taking down the Kansas City Chiefs during the NFL São Paulo Game on Friday night.

Daniel Jones shredded the Miami Dolphins to lead the Indianapolis Colts to a dominant 33-8 victory at home, Pete Carroll’s Las Vegas Raiders won outright as underdogs against the New England Patriots on the road, and the Jets nearly took down the Steelers in a high-scoring 34-32 final at MetLife Stadium. Josh Allen’s late-game heroics against the Baltimore Ravens led the Buffalo Bills to a thrilling 41-40 walk-off win.

My Week 1 NFL Parlays & Picks settled 0-2. A strategy shift should yield a more profitable Week 2 with a pair of NFL early week parlays. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more NFL betting analysis and free picks.

NFL Early Week Parlays: Week 2

                              Parlay 1 (+188)

                              Leg 1: Bengals Moneyline (-190)

Cincinnati continued its struggles against Cleveland in Week 1. Joe Burrow finished with less than 120 passing yards and the Bengals’ offense logged a total of seven yards in the second half, narrowly avoiding an upset due to a late missed field goal by the Browns.

Expect a more focused effort in a favorable matchup against Jacksonville in Week 2. It’s Cincinnati’s home opener, so wideouts Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should feast against a Jaguars defense that ranked last in multiple pass metrics in 2024.

                              Leg 2: Rams vs. Titans – Under 42.5 (-112)

2025 NFL No. 1 pick, Cam Ward, played a good game during his debut with the Tennessee Titans on the road against Denver. Despite being held out of the end zone, the Titans managed to keep the game close with field goals and their defense.

Matthew Stafford’s Los Angeles Rams offense struggled to produce scoring drives against Houston last week. Whether it’s his back, the absence of Cooper Kupp, or Houston’s defense playing elite remains to be seen.

Tennessee has some disruptors on defense, led by Jeffery Simmons. A revamped secondary should be able to prioritize Rams wideout Puka Nacua, who handled the majority of touches for Los Angeles during their 14-9 win against the Texans.

This game script screams under to me. Two quality defenses, plus a rookie quarterback in an underwhelming offense and a veteran quarterback playing with an injured back.

                              Parlay 2 (+261)

                              Leg 1: Cowboys -5.5 (-110)

Dallas played a good game against the defending Super Bowl champions to open up the 2025 NFL season. Yes, the Cowboys lost 24-20, but Dak Prescott put them in position to take the lead multiple times in the second half.

A fast start allowed Dallas to apply pressure to Philadelphia. Unfortunately, their inability to impact Jalen Hurts, who continuously broke out of contain to pick up first downs and touchdowns, spotlighted the recent trade of former star edge rusher, Micah Parsons, to Green Bay.

The New York Giants looked awful on offense against Washington in Week 1. They’ll stay on the road with QB Russell Wilson under center in Week 2 against another division rival who has enough pieces to make a playoff run in 2025.

Lay the -5.5 with Dallas at home in a plus-matchup against a Giants offense with minimal impact players.

                              Leg 2: Eagles vs. Chiefs – Under 46.5 (-112)

A Super Bowl rematch highlights the biggest game in Week 2 on the late afternoon slate. The Kansas City Chiefs kick off their home opener at Arrowhead Stadium following a shocking 27-21 AFC West divisional loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil.
Patrick Mahomes’ mobility continues to be the force that drives Andy Reid’s offense. Philadelphia didn’t have Jalen Carter available against Dallas but he’ll be back to pressure Mahomes in the pocket.
Jalen Hurts will look to apply a similar tactic by leaning on his legs. Hurts was very efficient against Dallas, completing 19-of-23 pass attempts for 152 yards and no turnovers.
Kansas City’s defense got destroyed by Herbert’s arm and legs in Week 1. DC Steve Spagnuolo will need to address this weakness ahead of Week 2 against Philadelphia’s backfield tandem of Hurts and Saquon Barkley to avoid an 0-2 start.
The Eagles like to establish long, physical drives with their rushing attack. Melting clock and scoring touchdowns is a great strategy to win football games.
The Chiefs offense will be without WR Xavier Worthy, which hurts their quick drive ability. A final score of 24-21 feels likely, so let’s insert under 46.5 total points to cash this +261 NFL parlay.
