NFL Wild Card Anytime TD Scorers Prop Bets: Steelers vs. Ravens
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Anytime TD Scorer: Derrick Henry (-185)
Derrick Henry has been the best running back in the NFL not named Saquon Barkley this year. The future Hall of Famer finished first in the league with 16 rushing touchdowns and second in offensive scores with 18 in his first season with the Ravens. He was outstanding in Week 18 against the Browns, totaling two rushing touchdowns in the victory. Furthermore, Henry has had more games this season with two touchdowns (five) than none (four).
While the superstar running back didn't score in the Week 16 matchup against the Steelers, he had 162 rushing yards and averaged 6.8 yards per attempt. However, Henry did have a rushing touchdown in the Week 11 contest against the division rivals. Meanwhile, the Steelers have surrendered only one rushing touchdown to running backs over the past four weeks. Yet, they gave up 13 scores to running backs during the regular season.
Anytime TD Scorer: Rashod Bateman (+145)
Unfortunately, the Ravens won't have Zay Flowers for the first round of the playoffs because of a knee injury he suffered in Week 18. While the former Boston College star is Baltimore's unquestioned No. 1 wide receiver, he only had four receiving touchdowns during the regular season. By comparison, Rashod Bateman finished second on the team with nine receiving scores, ranking only behind Mark Andrews, totaling five more than the next closest wide receiver.
Furthermore, the veteran finished ninth in the NFL in receiving touchdowns, totaling more than several big-name pass catchers, including Davante Adams (eight) and Tyreek Hill (six). More importantly, Bateman has four receiving touchdowns since the team's Week 14 bye, including one in their most recent win over the Steelers. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has surrendered six receiving touchdowns to wide receivers over the past month. Bateman should see an uptick in targets with Flowers out of the lineup.
