Dallas Cowboys First TD Scorer: Javonte Williams (+245)

While everyone wants to talk about the Cowboys’ passing attack, Javonte Williams was quietly one of the better running backs in the NFL last season. He had 11 rushing touchdowns, the eighth-most in the league, accounting for 61.1% of Dallas' team total.

Furthermore, the veteran was outstanding early last season, totaling three rushing touchdowns over the first two weeks. More importantly, Williams had a rushing touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the Giants last season.

Despite having one of the worst run defenses in the league last season, New York did little to improve along the defensive line. Furthermore, they traded away Dexter Lawrence, who was arguably their best defensive player.

Last season, the Giants surrendered 15 rushing touchdowns to running backs, the eighth-most in the NFL. After entering the end zone a career-high 11 times in 2025, don't be surprised if Williams scores the Cowboys' first touchdown in 2026.

New York Giants First TD Scorer: Cam Skattebo (+280)

New York has one of the deeper running back units in the NFL. While he might not be a featured player getting all the volume, Cam Skattebo is the Giants' best running back.

Last season, the former Arizona State star had five rushing touchdowns and two receiving scores in eight games. Furthermore, he had five touchdowns over his final three games before suffering a season-ending injury. Despite missing over half the year, Skattebo led New York's backfield in touchdowns.

After having one of the worst defenses in 2025, the Cowboys improved their unit this offseason. However, most of their additions came on the defensive passing side of the ball, with the drafting of Caleb Downs and the signing of Jalen Thompson in free agency.

Last season, Dallas struggled to keep opposing running backs out of the end zone, surrendering 15 rushing touchdowns to the position. More importantly, the Cowboys gave up three touchdowns to the Giants’ running back unit in their two matchups last season.

Anytime TD Scorer: George Pickens (+150)

George Pickens had a breakout year in 2025. The former Georgia star was one of the top wide receivers in the NFL, ranking eighth in the league with a career-high nine receiving touchdowns.

By comparison, Pickens scored 12 receiving touchdowns over his other three NFL seasons, totaling five or fewer every year. More importantly, Pickens started last season on fire, totaling six receiving touchdowns over the first six weeks, including one in the Week 2 win over the Giants.

Meanwhile, New York's defense struggled to stop opposing offenses, whether on the ground or in the air, last season. The Giants surrendered the 11th-most receptions (306) and the 12th-most receiving touchdowns to opposing wide receivers (16) in 2025.

More importantly, they struggled to keep Cowboys pass-catchers out of the end zone in last season's Week 2 matchup, including Pickens. Don't be surprised if the Georgia star scores at least once on Sunday night.

Anytime TD Scorer: Malik Nabers (+160)

The Giants have listed Malik Nabers as questionable for this game because of the torn ACL he suffered last year. However, the superstar is on track to play, and that's excellent news for bettors.

Nabers is a Cowboys killer, averaging 117 receiving yards per game in three career matchups against the division rivals. More importantly, Nabers was unstoppable in the Week 2 contest last season, finding the end zone twice, scoring New York's first and last touchdowns of the game.

Not only did the former LSU star score twice in his lone matchup with Dallas last season, but Nabers' second touchdown came with 25 seconds left in the contest. Unfortunately, giving up touchdowns to opposing wide receivers wasn't unusual for the Cowboys in 2025. They surrendered 26 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers last season, the most in the NFL, and five more than any other team. Expect Nabers' return to include a trip to the end zone.
