One of the most popular ways to tout your football knowledge is in a Survivor Pool. Each week you select a team to win their game with the goal of surviving as long as possible. The catch is you can only choose a team once, so it's imperative you think ahead when selecting.
If you've made it to Week 4 in your Survivor Pool, congratulations. With big upsets by the Browns and Panthers, many Survivor participants bowed out in Week 3. If you've been following along with us though you're still alive. Let's take a look at some good picks for the Week 4 slate.

NFL Week 4 Survivor Pool Picks
Detroit Lions
There were a lot of questions about the Detroit offense after a rough performance on the road in Week 1. Many of those questions were answered at home in an offensive drubbing of Chicago. After a Monday night performance in Baltimore where they impressed again on the offensive side, it's safe to say that they're just as good as they were last season.
After two less-than-stellar performances on offense, the Browns stunned the Packers in a game that knocked out a lot of Survivor participants. A blocked field goal and interception deep in the Green Bay side of the field flipped a game that the Packers pretty much dominated despite the close score. Now they'll travel to Detroit to take on a Lions team that looks to have put that opening week loss behind them.
Detroit is a better team at home than on the road, especially on the offensive side of the ball. There is reason to believe that the Cleveland defense can give them some trouble, but the offense isn't capable of keeping up with some of the best teams in the league especially on the road. Detroit has a fairly tough schedule this season and this Week 4 spot is one of the more prime opportunities to use them in Survivor.
Denver Broncos
If you've saved the Broncos in Week 1, this is another good place to use them. The Bengals without Joe Burrow weren't able to do anything against the strong Minnesota defense. The Vikings were making life miserable for Jake Browning all day. They recorded four sacks and forced Browning into two interceptions with only 3.3 yards per play. Unfortunately for the Bengals, they'll get another tough test in Denver.
The Broncos are coming off back-to-back road losses after their Week 1 win over Tennessee. Being back at home in the elevation should only benefit them more. Their pass rush has been very effective through the first three games of the season, recording double-digit sacks already on the season. They should have no issue getting to the quarterback behind this Bengals' offensive line that has already allowed 10 sacks themselves.
On the defensive side, the Bengals have also been atrocious. The Jaguars, Browns, and Vikings have averaged 359.7 yards per game against this defense. In games against other teams, those three have averaged 277.5 yards per game, over 80 yards less. Denver has a strong enough offense to move the ball on Cincinnati and they'll have Jake Browning and the Bengal offense uncomfortable all day.
