We kick off Week 9 in the 2025-26 NFL campaign with another Thursday Night matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. Lamar Jackson is set to return after a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury suffered on September 28. While this may be positive news for Baltimore, Miami fans are more than likely not as excited for the QB's return to the field.
Without any further delay, let's get into our favorite props for Thursday, October 30.
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
De'Von Achane Over 96.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-133)
De'Von Achane is averaging 67.4 yards on the ground this season, with an additional 29.4 through the air. That doesn't leave us with a ton of wiggle room for the 96.5 threshold in this contest, but that hasn't stopped Achane over the previous five contests.
The running back for Miami has cleared 96.5 rushing and receiving yards in three out of the last five games played. Achane is averaging 97.2 combined rushing and receiving yards over that span. The third-year running back has finished with 101 combined yards on the ground and through the air on three occasions this season.
Baltimore is allowing over 250 yards passing each contest to the opposition, along with slightly below 129 yards via the rush. The Dolphins are severely limited in offensive weaponry, and we expect a ton of touches for Achane this evening. This will more than likely be the sweatiest of our selections. However, we feel Achane surpasses 96.5 rushing + receiving yards in this game.
Jalen Waddle Over 65.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
As previously stated, the Miami Dolphins are down to just about the bare bones of the offense going into their ninth contest. Considering Baltimore has been extremely vulnerable through the air, Waddle looks to be on a fantastic spot tonight in Miami.
The Ravens are allowing the fifth most amount of yards through the air in eight contests played (250.7). Opposing top receiving options are averaging 67.5 yards against Baltimore. The Ravens allowed two players to accumulate at least 65 yards in their last contest against the Bears.
Waddle has finished with at least 95 receiving yards in three out of the last four games. With very few other options at the wide receiver position, and a gracious Baltimore defense, things look set up quite well for Waddle to finish with 66 yards receiving or more tonight.
Lamar Jackson 5+ Rushing Yards 1Q (-110)
There's obviously not much rhyme in this reason. The five yards is a very low total to surpass even if Lamar Jackson is returning from a hamstring injury. The halftime total for Jackson's rushing yards is 15, so this is purely a logical play.
The Dolphins are giving up 145 yards per game on the ground, and 153 yards when playing on their home field. When the opposing QB is not named Kirk Cousins or Bryce Young, quarterbacks are rushing for an average of 29.5 against Miami.
Jackson is averaging 8.8 yards on the ground in the first quarter through the first four games played this season. The Baltimore QB may want to test out how the hamstring feels early, and that should result in at least five rushing yards in the first quarter.
Zay Flowers Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Zay Flowers is averaging 69.5 yards through the air in seven games played this season. Based on averages alone, the 67.5 threshold for receiving yards seems very attainable. Flowers has finished with 68 yards or more in four out of seven games played.
The Dolphins concede over 49 extra passing yards when playing on their home field. Miami has allowed an average of 90 yards to their opponent's top receiving option in three games at home this season. All of those players finished with at least 80 yards.
The Baltimore wide receiver gets the luxury of having his quarterback return after being out with a hamstring injury. This should bold well for Flowers who is averaging 76.25 yards when Lamar Jackson is at the helm. Flowers has eclipsed 67.5 yards in three out of four games with Jackson as the QB.
Tyler Loop Over 2+ Field Goals (-137)
Tyler Loop (first name Steven), is hitting a respectable 1.7 field goals through seven games played on the season. The 24-year old has connected on 12 out of 13 attempts and has finished with more than two field goals in four out seven games.
Miami is allowing 2.3 field goals through their first eight games of the season, and have conceded at least to three-point kicks in five out of eight contests. The Dolphins are tied with two other teams for 2nd place in regards to most field goals allowed (18) .
Lamar Jackson's return should benefit a few players on the Ravens this evening, with Loop most likely being the most under the radar. The Baltimore kicker made at least two field goals in three out of four games played with Jackson. The Ravens are putting up 32.7 points per game with Jackson at the helm, and 14.3 without.
