Will Reichard Over 7.5 Total Kicking Points (-111)
Will Reichard is averaging a respectable 8.5 kicking points per game through six games played on the season. The 24-year-old has connected on all 12 of his extra-point attempts and has missed just one out of 14 field-goal attempts. Reichard has finished with more than 7.5 kicking points in only two out of six games. The Chargers have been shelling out points via the kicker position.
Los Angeles is allowing 8.1 kicking points per game through their first seven games of the season. They have conceded at least 7.5 points via field goals and extra points in five out of seven contests. The Chargers rank 13th in terms of most kicking points allowed (163). Opponents have scored at least eight kicking points against Los Angeles in two out of the last three contests.
Reichard has scored 38 points over the last four contests and has finished with at least eight points in two of those games. He will only be playing in his second official road game after back-to-back contests overseas. Having said that, we feel Reichard gets enough opportunities this evening against a Los Angeles team who have allowed eight or more kicking points in all three home games this season.
Carson Wentz Over 230.5 Passing Yards (-133)
Carson Wentz is certainly making the most of his opportunity at the starting quarterback position due to J.J. McCarthy being unable to suit up over the last few weeks. Wentz will make his fifth start for the Vikings against a Chargers defense that has allowed at least 231 passing yards in three out of four games played on their home field.
Opposing quarterbacks averaged 232.5 passing yards through the Chargers’ first four home games. Over the last three games, the Vikings have been passing the ball on almost double the attempts compared to attempts of the rushing variety (41-22). Wentz is averaging over 310 yards in the previous three contests.
The Vikings rank fifth in the league with 1,133 passing over the last four games, as well as fifth in most completions (98). Wentz owns the second-lowest drop percentage (1.7%) of any current starting quarterback behind Jalen Hurts. The Vikings are obviously slinging the ball, and the team is not dropping many passes thrown by Wentz. The veteran quarterback looks to be in a fantastic spot to clear 230.5 yards tonight.
Jordan Addison Over 53.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Jordan Addison is averaging 94.3 yards through the air in three games played. Based on averages alone, the 53.5 threshold for receiving yards seems very attainable. Addison has finished with 54+ yards in two out of three games played.
Los Angeles has allowed an average of 237 receiving yards through the previous three games. The Minnesota wide receiver is averaging 15.7 yards per reception. Addison has seen a total of 26 targets through three games played and has over 100 yards in two out of three contests.
Khalil Mack Over 0.25 Sacks (+160)
Chargers linebacker Khalil Mack has recorded two sacks over the previous three contests, and faces a Vikings squad that is allowing multiple sacks in each contest. Mack finished with one sack in his first game back against Indianapolis after injuring his elbow in Week 2.
Minnesota has allowed 23 sacks on the season, including two or more in all six games played so far. The quarterback for the Vikings has been sacked 11 times in the last three games. Opponents have finished with six sacks against Minnesota in two out of six games.
Mack reached the quarterback for a sack in two consecutive contests, and matches up against a Vikings squad that is borderline doing charity work in regards to sacks. Someone on the Chargers will record a sack this evening. We are choosing to back Mack on recording at least a half-sack.
Kimani Vidal Over 2.5 Receptions (-127)
Things haven't particularly gone as planned in the running department for Kimani Vidal. After compiling 124 yards against Miami in Week 6, the 24-year-old followed that up with 20 yards on nine carries this past Sunday against the Colts. Having said that, we have seen consistency in the form of receptions for the young running back, and that's what we are focusing on for tonight's contest.
Vidal has exceeded 2.5 receptions in two consecutive contests. The running back for the Chargers is averaging 3.5 receptions on nine targets over that span. Vidal has been on the field for 92 snaps over the previous two games and owns a 10% target rate.
Minnesota is allowing 4.1 receptions per game to the opposing running back over six games in 2025. Running backs have hauled in 25 passes on 33 targets through six contests against the Vikings.
Enjoy the game tonight and best of luck with your picks.
