The week’s first game likely won’t be the most exciting contest. Yet, there are some eye-catching options at PrizePicks. Both offenses are pass-happy, which might be surprising because of who’s quarterbacking for each club. As a result, a few receiving lines are inviting.
Here are my best PrizePicks player predictions for Week 17, “Thursday Night Football,” Jets vs. Browns.

Best TNF Week 17 PrizePicks Player Predictions
Breece Hall OVER 31.5 Receiving Yards
According to RotoViz’s pace app, the Jets have had a 64% situation-neutral pass rate since Week 13. Conversely, Cleveland’s opponents were tied for the second-highest situation-neutral pass rate (66%) in that timeframe. The Jets are likely to air it out often this week.
Breece Hall was the apple of Trevor Siemian’s eye in Week 16. The second-year running back had team highs in targets (16), receptions (12) and receiving yards (96) against the Commanders.
Hall can stay heavily involved against Cleveland’s talented defense. He should be a valuable player to combat Cleveland’s fierce pass rush, and the Browns haven’t bottled up running backs in the passing game. According to The 33rd Team, the Browns have allowed 5.0 receptions per game and 35 receiving yards per game to running backs since Week 13. As a result, FantasyPros projects Hall to have 38.4 receiving yards against the Browns.
Tyler Conklin OVER 3.0 Receptions
Tyler Conklin was targeted heavily lately. Siemian threw 26 passes in relief of an injured Zach Wilson (11 pass attempts) in Week 15 before chucking the pigskin 49 times in Week 16. Again, the Jets should air it out often since they’ve run a pass-happy offense, and teams have attacked the Browns at a high rate in neutral game scripts in the previous four weeks.
Conklin was targeted precisely seven times and had exactly four receptions in his past two games. Conklin, like Hall, can be a safety valve in the short area to help Siemian avoid a beating at the hands of Cleveland’s fearsome pass rush.
Conklin’s matchup is ideal for his receiving outlook. Tight ends have flamed the Browns for 7.0 receptions per game in the last four weeks. Thus, Conklin is projected to have 3.3 receptions.
David Njoku OVER 50.5 Receiving Yards
David Njoku has had an outstanding rapport with Joe Flacco. According to FantasyPros, Njoku has had a 21.6% target share and averaged 56 air yards per game in Flacco’s four starts this season. The pass-catching tight end has parlayed that rock-solid usage into 24 receptions (6.0 per game) and 256 receiving yards (64.0 per game).
Njoku had over 50.5 receiving yards in two of those four games. He’s a critical piece of Cleveland’s pass-heavy offense. The Browns had a 64% situation-neutral pass rate in the previous four weeks.
Gang Green’s defense isn’t a pushover. Still, they’ve permitted tight ends 5.5 receptions per game and 49 receiving yards per game since Week 13. Njoku is an above-average tight end. So, he can surpass the recent numbers tight ends had against the Jets. He’s projected to have 53.2 receiving yards tonight.
