It’s Week 11 of the National Football League (NFL) regular season, and we have just two teams on a bye — the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. That means we have 13 games on tap for Sunday, including the first-ever NFL game (and first-ever weather report!) from Madrid, Spain, while Monday’s game is between the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders indoors.
The weather is a problem in a few of the venues, and that’s typical as we make our way deeper into November toward the holidays. Really following the weather is where you can get a leg up, especially on totals. Let’s dive into the NFL Week 11 weather report.

NFL Week 11 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions
(All forecasts courtesy of AccuWeather.com | Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook)
Washington Commanders at Miami Dolphins (-2.5) - Madrid, Spain | Total 47.5
Forecast: 55 degrees, 30% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 9-11 MPH
In the first-ever NFL game in Madrid, the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain… and at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. It won’t be a deluge, but there is a 30% chance of showers, perhaps with the rains falling right before halftime. There are some wind issues, too, but nothing like we’ve seen in Chicago and Cleveland in the past couple of weeks.
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-2.5) | Total 48.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind Speed: This game is played in a dome
It’s an indoor game - meh. The Vikings have dominated this series, winning eight of the past nine, and they’re 4-1-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past six, and 6-2-1 ATS in that nine-game span. Chicago has won two of the past five meetings in the Twin Cities, both as an underdog and as a favorite, so there’s that.
Green Bay Packers (-7.5) at New York Giants | Total 43.5
Forecast: 52 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 17-19 MPH
The Packers have had a power outage lately, while the Giants fired their coach. Things are tough all over for these teams. Jameis Winston begins the Mike Kafka era. The most interesting part of this game will be the gusting winds of up to 25 miles per hour (MPH).
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons (-3.5) | Total 41.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind Speed: This game is played in a dome
The last time these teams met in Charlotte in Week 3, the Panthers blanked the Falcons 30-0. In the controlled environmental conditions of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the Falcons look to return the favor.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars | Total 43.5
Forecast: 77 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 12-14 MPH
The Chargers head outside and head east, taking on the Jaguars outside. Temperatures will be pushing 80 degrees, so cramping could be an issue, as humidity will be around 60%. The winds will be kicking up, gusting to 20 MPH, which could impact the passing and kicking games at times.
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5.5) | Total 49.5
Forecast: 45 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 14-17 MPH
The Bengals and Steelers meet for the second time this season. Cincinnati surprised Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football in mid-October. In this one, the teams will have to contend with a pesky wind playing tricks on the quarterbacks and kickers. Wind is the theme of Week 11.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills (-5.5) | Total 46.5
Forecast: 38 degrees, 15% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 17-20 MPH
There is a slight chance of flurries, but there won’t be much in the way of precipitation, if at all. The biggest issue, as you might guess, is wind. The winds will be gusting off of Lake Erie up to gale force, so the passing and kicking games will be impacted.
Houston Texans (-5.5) at Tennessee Titans | Total 37.5
Forecast: 64 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 7-9 MPH
The weather in the Music City will be pretty tame, at least in terms of other venues. There will be a breeze, but this isn’t baseball. A wind of 7-9 MPH isn’t much for football, and there is no precipitation to speak of.
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams (-3) | Total 48.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind Speed: This game is played in a dome
We’re indoors for this NFC West battle. We’ve had a total of 168 points in the past four meetings in Los Angeles (42 points per game). The under is 4-1 in the past five meetings overall, too, and the trends appear to be pointing that way again.
San Francisco 49ers (-3) at Arizona Cardinals | Total 48.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind Speed: This game is played in a dome
The roof at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, can be opened, but it won’t be on Sunday. There is actually a 25% chance of precipitation, and winds will be 6-8 MPH. But with the roof clamped shut, these teams won’t need to worry about the elements.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Denver Broncos | Total 44.5
Forecast: 68 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 5-8 MPH
In the Mile High City, the weather is actually pretty nice. We have trouble spots everywhere, but one of the more notorious NFL venues for weather is going to be picture-perfect for this AFC West rivalry.
Baltimore Ravens (-7.5) at Cleveland Browns | Total 38.5
Forecast: 42 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 21-24 MPH
Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland has been the source of some interesting weather so far this season. On Sunday, it won’t be any different, as he’ll have sustained winds of 21-24 MPH, with gusts to 30-35 MPH, wreaking havoc with the passing and kicking games.
Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5) (Sunday Night) | Total 46.5
Forecast: 45 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind Speed: 15-17 MPH
For this Sunday Night Football clash in the City of Brotherly Love, we’ll have gusty winds, which, again, is the theme of the weekend. If it’s a close game, the kicking game and the result of the game could be impacted.
Dallas Cowboys (-3.5) at Las Vegas Raiders | Total 50.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind Speed: This game is played in a dome
Boo. After flurries and wind in Lambeau Field last Monday night, with real weather and good, old-fashioned football, we’ll be back indoors to wrap up the week. Bummer.
