NFL Playoffs Wild Card Odds & Picks: Best Early Bets (2025)

Moving onto week 13 in the NFL, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the games played on Thursday and Friday! It's NFL Sunday, and it's a thinner slate than normal due to four other games being played already. That said, there are still 12 games left to be played this week. Let's dive into my favorite matchup for Sunday afternoon.

Tennessee Titans vs. Washington Commanders

Looking at the Washington Commanders and the Tennessee Titans, this game intrigues me for many reasons. One of the top reasons is that it's a matchup between two young quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Will Levis. It's always fun to see how these types of games go between younger quarterbacks in the NFL.

Furthermore, this is a big game for the Commanders. They enter this game on a three-game losing streak, but they have a chance to get their season back on track with their eighth win. As for the Titans, they’re 3-8, and they've got a chance to play spoiler despite their season essentially being over.

Getting running back Brian Robinson back for this game will help the Commanders on offense. The Commanders announced on Saturday that they were putting RB Austin Ekeler on injured reserve. Losing Ekeler is a big loss, but having Robinson back and hopefully healthy should pay off in a big way for the Commanders and their hopes of making the playoffs.

So far this season, Robinson has seen 12 carries or more in every game but two of them this season. This has resulted in him gaining 537 rushing yards on 122 carries and 7 touchdowns this season. It's worth noting that he's been dealing with an ankle injury, and it's caused him to miss 3 games this season.

Fortunately, Robinson gets a favorable matchup against the Titans this week. The Titans run defense does give up an average of 106.7 rushing yards per game, and they've allowed 11 rushing touchdowns this season. In addition to that, they've given up a total of 13 touchdowns to running backs this season (7 rushing touchdowns and 6 receiving touchdowns).

With the injury to Austin Ekeler, we should see plenty of opportunities for Robinson to touch the football and potentially score. In a favorable matchup and a Commander’s team in desperate need of winning this game, I think this game bodes well for Robinson and the Commanders.
