One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points like 6, 6.5, or 7 in a direction that lowers risk.
Teaser Tips to Follow
- Never Cross over 0
- Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7.
- Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or less.

Week 18 Teaser Options
Baltimore Ravens from +3.5 to +9.5 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
This AFC North battle always comes down to the wire. It’s very rare to see either team win by multiple scores. In fact, you have to go back to Dec. 29, 2019, to find the last time either team won by more than a touchdown.
The point is, regardless of who is playing at quarterback for the Ravens, this team won’t just lay down and play dead; I mean, look at Harbaugh’s preseason record; this team will try to win in every scenario.
Indianapolis Colts from +1.5 to +7.5 vs. Houston Texans
It is a win and get-in for both of these teams. If either team wins, they secure a playoff spot and, depending on what happens in the Jacksonville game, could clinch the AFC South if the Jags lose.
Despite the Texans having a better team overall, the Colts’ offense should be able to keep this close. Gardner Minshew is the “Wild Card” here; if he continues to turn the ball over at a high rate, this can get ugly.
Philadelphia Eagles from -6 to PK vs. New York Giants.
After losing four of their past five games, the Eagles must get on track before the playoffs. The NFC East title is still up for grabs, but they need to win, plus a Dallas loss, for that to happen.
Whether they win the division or not, the most important thing for this team is to get back on track and head into the playoffs with some momentum.
Teasing Philly down to PK or +.5 is an excellent value for a week 18 teaser option, as they just need to win outright.
