We’ve arrived at the final weekend of the National Football League season. And it’s exciting from a weather perspective, as there is an East Coast storm which will affect some of the games, either with wind, rain or even some snow. Most fantasy footballers have had their championship game already, but if your league plays into Week 18, good luck. There are some trouble spots, and a few teams resting regulars, too!
Let’s look at the Week 18 weather report, and thank you for reading this season!

NFL Week 18 Weather Report
All forecasts courtesy of AccuWeather.com
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-3) | Total 42.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.
The Falcons and Saints tangle for a possible NFC South Division title shot depending on what happens elsewhere. At least they need not worry about weather being a factor while indoors.
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5) | Total 37.5
Forecast: 38 degrees, 15% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 8-11 MPH
The Browns will be resting key personnel, and players standing around will be chilled by a brisk wind. There is a chance of flurries, too, though the heavier snow tapers off well before kickoff.
New York Jets at New England Patriots (-1.5) | Total 30.5
Forecast: 36 degrees, 95% chance of snow
Wind speed: 13-16 MPH
This game has the potential to be the snowiest game of the season, with a near 100 percent chance of the white stuff. It could accumulate anywhere from 1-3 inches on Sunday, so expect the footing to be treacherous.
Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at Tennessee Titans | Total 42.5
Forecast: 43 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 9-11 MPH
The weather will pull out of the Music City for this important AFC South Division clash. We’ll get cloudy conditions, and winds that are gusty at times. But nothing these teams can’t handle.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (-3.5) | Total 46.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.
The Vikings and Lions will be playing under controlled environmental conditions under the roof at Ford Field for the final weekend of the season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-4.5) at Carolina Panthers | Total 36.5
Forecast: 52 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 10-13 MPH
The Buccaneers can secure an NFC South Division title in Charlotte on Sunday, and they won’t have to worry about weather being an issue. We’ll get mostly sunny conditions in the Queen City.
Dallas Cowboys (-13.5) at Washington Commanders | Total 46.5
Forecast: 46 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 9-11 MPH
The Cowboys will be grinding Sunday, looking for a victory to potentially steal a division title if the Philadelphia Eagles falter. The weather will have pulled out D.C., with just breezy conditions to deal with.
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers (-4) | Total 40.5
Forecast: 53 degrees, 0% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 8-11 MPH
Both of these teams are going to the playoffs, and both teams have their seeding. So we’ll see plenty of reserves in this game, as QB Carson Wentz makes his first start, and he’ll be opposed by QB Sam Darnold in a game which might resemble a preseason contest.
Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5) at New York Giants | Total 41.5
Forecast: 37 degrees, 25% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 6-8 MPH
The Eagles and Giants tangle in the Meadowlands, and Philly is gunning for an NFC East Division title. There might be a rain/snow mix at times, with a slight breeze. Perfect weather conditions for football!
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-3) | Total 45
Forecast: 34 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 6-9 MPH
The Bears and Packers renew acquaintances at historic Lambeau Field, and the Packers are in the mix for a postseason spot. The Bears, already eliminated, would like to get the Pack to join them on the couch for the playoffs.
Seattle Seahawks (-3) at Arizona Cardinals | Total 47.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.
The Seahawks are in the mix for a spot in the postseason, but the Cardinals would love to play spoiler in this indoor game. Arizona relished in the role last weekend in Philadelphia.
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders (-3) | Total 37.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.
Both of these teams are eliminated from playoff contention, so they don’t need to worry about that. They also need not worry about weather, as this game is played indoors.
Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5) | Total 35.5
Forecast: Indoors
Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.
The Chiefs have secured the AFC West Division team, so QB Patrick Mahomes won’t be playing. We’ll get QB Blaine Gabbert against QB Easton Stick in another game which might have a preseason feel indoors.
Buffalo Bills (-2.5) at Miami Dolphins | Total 48.5
Forecast: 65 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation
Wind speed: 7-9 MPH
In the final game of the day, the Bills and Dolphins fight for an AFC East Division title. And depending on what happens earlier in the day, Buffalo could be playing to simply make the playoffs. Weather won’t be an issue.
