NFL Week 6 Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles
- Leg 1: Panthers Moneyline (-166)
- Leg 2: Dameon Pierce Anytime Touchdown (+160)
Let's start off our touchdown & win parlays with Philadelphia hosting Carolina. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Eagles. They've now lost three straight games, following last week's end-of-game debacle in London. Now Jalen Hurts is sidelined this week, adding to the slew of injuries.
The Hurts absence has now flipped the odds in Carolina's favor this week. The Panthers are coming off a big win over Detroit on Sunday Night Football. They now face a reeling Eagles team that had to travel back from London without a bye week in between. It's a rough situational spot, especially after just losing a heartbreaker to Jacksonville. The absences of Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and most of the offensive line are the cherry on top.
Maybe it's time to sell high on the Panthers after last week's win. However, this is a good team and Bryce Young is playing with a ton of confidence. The defense is still a concern, but Tanner McKee and the struggling Philly offense won't be able to exploit enough of those issues. Take Carolina to get the road win.
Though we're backing the Panthers, let's roll with a Philadelphia player to score. Dameon Pierce is slated to be the Eagles' lead back with Barkley out, and Will Shipley is also sidelined now. He now faces a Carolina defense that's allowing a league-high 5.4 yards per carry and the second-most rushing yards per game to opposing RBs. Plus, the Panthers have allowed five rushing TDs over four games.
Pierce should get the majority of carries for Philadelphia this week, which could lead to a big game. It's not pretty, especially considering he only had 14 yards on 11 attempts last week. That was against Jacksonville's elite rush defense, though. The matchup is much easier this time around. Plus, Pierce will likely get the goal-line touches without Hurts available for a Tush Push.
Parlay Odds: +425
Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders
- Leg 1: Bills Moneyline (-230)
- Leg 2: Tre Tucker Anytime Touchdown (+275)
Let's head out to Las Vegas for our second parlay. The Bills are 4.5-point road favorites against the Raiders this week. Buffalo is riding high after outlasting the Rams in overtime on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile, Vegas is trending in the wrong direction on a two-game losing streak.
This may seem like the classic trap game for the Bills. Hitting the road out West on a short week isn't ideal, especially in a potential letdown spot after the win over Los Angeles. However, Buffalo should be motivated to hit next week's bye with another victory.
As for the Raiders, they're now 2-3 after losing to Kansas City and New England in the past two games. Last week's 45-17 loss to the Patriots was especially concerning, as the defense continues to struggle. It's also worth noting that Vegas' three wins this year have come against the Saints, Chargers, and Dolphins - teams with a combined 1-14 record.
While we like Buffalo to win, a Raiders wide receiver is worth backing to score. That would be Tre Tucker. The Bills have allowed nine receiving touchdowns to opposing wideouts this year, the second-most in the league. They're also allowing the fourth-most receiving yards per game to WRs.
Las Vegas can put up points in a losing effort this week, as the lofty total suggests. Tucker could easily break off long gains and connect with Kirk Cousins on a touchdown. The Raiders' receiver has only scored once this season, but he's still been plenty involved. Tucker has 28 targets over five games, and he's averaging a healthy 14.4 yards per reception. All we need is the Buffalo secondary to break down in coverage as Tucker runs free.
Parlay Odds: +470
