One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points like 6, 6.5, or 7 in a direction that lowers risk.
Teaser Tips to Follow
- Never Cross over 0
- Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7.
- Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or less.

Week 8 Teaser Options
(Odds Courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook)
New England Patriots from (-7 to -1) vs. Cleveland Browns
Mike Vrabel has the Patriots rolling - winners of four straight, including three on the road. Now they finally return home to face a Browns team that's been brutal away from Cleveland.
Yes, the Browns are fresh off a blowout win over Miami, but this is the perfect letdown spot. Cleveland's two wins have both come at home, while being outscored by 66 points on the road this season.
Both defenses are elite against the run, which means this one likely comes down to quarterback play - and right now, I trust Drake Maye and the Pats' offense far more than Dillon Gabriel and the Browns.
Atlanta Falcons from (-7 to -1) vs. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are a mess. After getting blown out by the Browns, Miami is now 0-4 on the road and trending in the wrong direction.
Atlanta turns to Kirk Cousins with Michael Penix Jr. out (knee), but that's no downgrade - Cousins is experienced and efficient, and as long as he protects the football, the Falcons should cruise.
Atlanta is a field goal away from being a perfect 3-0 at home, with solid wins over Washington and Buffalo.
Philadelphia Eagles from (-7.5 to -1.5) vs. New York Giants
Big revenge spot for the Eagles!
Just two weeks ago, the Giants stunned the Eagles 34-17 on Thursday Night Football. This line opened at -7, and even with A.J. Brown news, it moved up through the key number to -7.5 - a strong signal that sharp money expects Philly to respond.
The Eagles are the superior team and will be out for blood at home.
Cincinnati Bengals from (-6 to PK) vs. New York Jets
The Jets look like the most undisciplined team in football - penalties, turnovers, and confusion everywhere. The QB saga this week didn't help, with Tyrod Taylor briefly named starter before being sidelined again, forcing Justin Fields back under center.
Meanwhile, Joe Flacco has breathed new life into Cincinnati. The Bengals just took down Pittsburgh on Thursday Night and are right back in the AFC North mix. Expect them to ride that momentum and take care of business at home against a Jets team in chaos.
