Thursday's Best PrizePicks NHL Player Predictions
Here's a look at the best PrizePicks predictions for Thursday's NHL slate.
Brent Burns LESS THAN 3.5 Shots On Goal
Carolina has looked almost flawless in the playoffs as they secured each series in five games. This roster has a ton of playmakers, thanks to 11 guys having six or more points. They were one of the best two-way teams in the league this year with the third-best goal differential, and they continue to play well in the playoffs, with the defense allowing just 2.2 high-danger shots per game and 2.55 goals allowed.

Brent Burns has been one of those guys, as the defenseman has 14 blocked shots and six points in eight games. This prop is set a little high because although he has 35 shots in the playoffs, 21 of those came in the Islanders series. He only went over this prop once against the Devils, and he's missed in over 70% of games during the regular season.
Brandon Montour LESS THAN 1.5 Blocked Shots
The Panthers made a charge late in the season, and thanks to help from other teams, they got a spot in the playoffs. They made the most of it by beating some great competition, including the Bruins, who had a record-breaking season. The offense has been great, scoring 3.33 goals per game, but the goaltending has been even better, with a .915 save percentage, which is the third-best.
Brandon Montour has been a good defenseman, but he's been better on the offensive side recently. He's gone over 1.5 blocks in just one of three games against the Hurricanes this year and just three of 12 in the playoffs.
