The Sharks give up the most points to defensemen in the NHL. In their three previous matchups this season, Pietrangelo has four total assists and also has four in his last five games.
We return to picking on San Jose, but how can we not when the Sharks give up 35.6 shots per game? Karlsson has two straight games with three SOG against Carolina and Minnesota, two significantly harder teams to shoot against. Oddly enough, the Vegas center shoots more in road games as well, taking 58 shots in 21 games compared to 44 in the same number of games at home.
