All 20 teams will take the pitch over the next three days, and I've got you covered from a betting angle. Let's dive into my top three Premier League bets for Matchday 17.

Premier League Matchday 17 Preview & Best Bets (2025)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Leeds (+170) vs. Crystal Palace (+170), DRAW (+220) | 2.5 (+115/-145

Saturday's eight-match schedule concludes with an intriguing battle between Leeds and Crystal Palace. The visiting Eagles enter the matchday in fifth place at 7-5-4 (26 points), while the hosts are just above the relegation line in 17th (4-4-8, 16 points). Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m. ET from Elland Road in Leeds.

I'm locking in the Over in this one. Leeds' biggest problem this season has been its defense, which ranks 17th in goals allowed (30) and 15th in xGA (22.2). They've been playing in plenty of high-scoring affairs, with their games averaging an inflated 3.1 goals per game. They'll have a tall task on the offensive side, but luckily, the Whites have been solid offensively at Elland Road this year. Of their 20 total goals, 13 have come during their eight home games. Leeds has seen 3+ combined goals in seven of their last eight matches, and that's a trend that I expect to continue on Saturday. I'll predict a 2-1 final in favor of Palace, as they should exploit Leeds' lowly defense to secure the three points.

Bet: Over 2.5 Goals (+115)

Aston Villa (+110) vs. Manchester United (+230), DRAW (+265) | 2.5 (-160/+125

This Aston Villa club is on the rise, and they're looking to take the next step and compete for a title this year. The Villans are currently in third place at 10-3-3 (33 points). They'll take on an upward-trending Manchester United squad that's in sixth place at 7-5-3 (26 points). This is a standalone game on Sunday, which gets underway at 11:30 a.m. ET from Villa Park in Birmingham.

While United has been playing well recently, there's just no way that I can pass up on a plus-money payout with Aston Villa at home. The hosts have been sharp at Villa Park this term, going 6-1-1 with a +7 goal differential (13:6). They'll take on a Manchester United club that's a respectable 3-3-2 on the road. However, they've conceded 14 goals on the road this year.

Furthermore, Aston Villa is in elite form right now. Across all competitions, Unai Emery's squad has won nine consecutive matches. They've out-scored the opposition 22-9 during the nine-game sample size. Aston Villa ranks second in clean sheets (5) this year. Their defense continues to play lights out, and I expect the offense to take advantage of United's questionable backend en route to a win. I'll say this one lands 2-1 or 3-1 for Aston Villa.

Bet: Aston Villa Moneyline (+110)

Fulham (+145) vs. Nottingham Forest (+195), DRAW (+230) | 2.5 (+100/-130

The matchday spills over to Monday, where 14th-place Fulham (6-2-8, 20 points) is set to host 16th-place Nottingham Forest (5-3-8, 18 points). Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. ET from Craven Cottage in London.

Forest is now in its fourth season in the top division of English soccer, and their success in the EPL has come thanks to great defending and playing well at home. Unfortunately, the back line has been an issue for the Trees in 2025-26. They enter the weekend ranked 13th in goals allowed (25) and 16th in xGA (22.7). On the road, Nottingham Forest is just 2-2-4. Their road mark of -0.72 xGD/90 minutes is 14th.

While Fulham isn't a powerhouse offensively, they have managed to score 23 goals this season, good for 10th overall. They've won half of their eight home matches, scoring 14 goals at Craven Cottage. They're coming off a 3-2 road win over Burnley, which marks their third win in five Premier League games. I'll take a +145 flier on the hosts in this one. They're the more well-rounded team, and their home-field advantage should give them the edge.

Bet: Fulham Moneyline (+145)
