Toronto Raptors @ Portland Trail Blazers
The Raptors (23-40) and Trail Blazers (17-45) battle in the Pacific Northwest, and Portland is looking for the regular-season series sweep. Portland picked up a 99-91 win in Toronto as a 10-point underdog, with the Under (216) cashing on Oct. 30, near the beginning of the season.
Portland has picked up six wins in the past eight meetings in the series. The Trail Blazers also hold a 4-2 ATS edge in the past six, with the Under cashing in each of the previous three battles.
Toronto has suffered four losses in the past five outings while also going 1-4 ATS in that span. The Under is 3-1 in the previous four contests, too. For Portland, it has dropped three in a row, but it is 4-1 ATS in the past five outings, with the Over cashing in the past three games. The trends for the total are all over the board, but back the Blazers, who have also been hot against the number lately.
Bets: Trail Blazers Moneyline (+108)

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Boston Bruins
The Penguins' window has closed on them, at least for this season. They were big sellers at the trade deadline, including trading away Jake Guentzal. It was a smart move, as they got a lot of picks back for a player they probably weren't re-signing. The offense has been pitiful. Over their last 19 games, they are averaging 2.63 goals per game and have been shut out twice in their previous five.
The Bruins have been just OK the last few weeks but are still getting points. They are 5-3-6 in their last 14, but coming away with at least a point has helped them get the second-most points in the Eastern Conference The question is, what's wrong with Linus Ullmark? The Vezina Trophy winner has struggled recently by dropping his last six decisions to the tune of a .882 save percentage.
The metrics actually have the Penguins as the better team, but you have to adjust for how they look as of today, and it isn't good. Pittsburgh still has a great defense, so take the six-goal Under and the risk of a push.
Pick: Under 6 Total Goals (-125)

2024 Shriners Children’s 500
It's a chalk week, and I won't fight it. Ryan Blaney could be the new Mr. Consistency at Phoenix, replacing the great Kevin Harvick, who served that role for the last decade-plus. The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion has scored three runner-ups and one P4 in the Next Gen era at Phoenix. That's good for second in the Phoenix Next Gen total speed rankings. Go back to the Gen 6 car, and it's seven straight T10s for Blaney and nine in his last 10 at the one-mile oval.
The Hartford, Ohio native isn't only elite here but at this track style in general. He paced third in the 2023 shorter-flat track total speed rankings. Even in this year's Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum - a loose comp for Phoenix - the No. 12 car finished third after taking a provisional to make the race and coming from the rear.
This finishing position prop is going for as low as -120 at some shops. I'll gladly back it at +140 with our friends from Pittsburgh.
Bet: Ryan Blaney Top-5 Finisher (+140)
