Best UFL Week 3 PrizePicks Player Projections
Here are Saturday’s best UFL Week 3 PrizePicks plays.
Luis Perez OVER 204.5 Passing Yards
The Renegades are 0-2, but negative game scripts haven’t significantly skewed their offensive tendencies. They were in a neutral game script until the fourth quarter in Week 1 and their entire contest in Week 2.
According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Arlington has attempted 59 passes, and their non-quarterbacks have rushed only 32 times. No one with multiple rush attempts for Arlington is averaging more than 4.0 yards per carry, and running backs Leddie Brown (3.3 yards per carry) and De’Veon Smith (2.5 yards per carry) are stuck in the mud.
Luis Perez has played well this year. He’s PFF’s third-ranked passer among 10 quarterbacks with at least 20 dropbacks. The spring football veteran is second in the UFL in passing yards (446) and first in yards per attempt (7.8). Perez had over 204.5 passing yards in both games this season, spinning it for 213 in Week 1 and 233 in Week 2. He should do so again this week against a defense that coughed up 244 passing yards to Houston’s pitiful quarterback duo of Jarrett Guarantano and Reid Sinnett.
Jace Sternberger UNDER 34.5 Receiving Yards
Jace Sternberge was a beast in the USFL in 2023. He had an outstanding rapport with Alex McGough, the USFL’s 2023 MVP. Birmingham’s passing attack hasn’t been as potent this year, deploying a two-headed quarterback rotation.
The lack of a consistent passing game has impacted Sternberger’s production. While he’s led the Stallions in routes (45), he’s parlayed his route participation into only six targets, two receptions and 32 receiving yards. Yes, he’s had fewer receiving yards in two games combined this season than his prop for this week. Moreover, the Stallions are 7.0-point favorites and should be able to lean on their rushing attack if they live up to their betting line.
Darius Victor UNDER 37.5 Rushing Yards
No one likes a salty gambler when they complain about a bat beat. Nevertheless, Darius Victor surpassing 49.5 rushing yards in Week 2 was a fluke. The Showboats were never in a negative game script, allowing Victor to plod to 54 rushing yards on 17 attempts. The bowling ball had a long run of 13 yards, representing 22.8% of his 57 this season.
He’s PFF’s lowest-ranked runner among 20 running backs this year. Victor has averaged a pathetic 2.1 yards per carry. He’s also forced only two missed tackles on 27 attempts. Victor was also on the injury report earlier this week.
Darius Victor looking very questionable for Memphis this week. And the Houston/Michigan game is looking chaotic. Danny Etling could be in line to draw the start if E.J. Perry is unable to return to practice. Just pounced on the under 38.5 pic.twitter.com/GA6Oh5wPP3

An ankle injury might further exacerbate Victor’s struggles, and an in-game setback would help the under. Finally, the Stallions are 7.0-point favorites, so the game script will likely be negative for Victor.
