Sunday’s UFL games begin at noon ET with the Roughnecks at the Panthers. The Battlehawks at the Brahmas is the final game of Week 3, starting at 3:00 p.m. ET. Both games have slight spreads. The first game should be a defensive battle. The second might have fireworks, but one “lower” choice is enticing.

Best UFL Week 3 PrizePicks Player Projections
Here are Sunday’s best UFL Week 3 PrizePicks plays.
Justin Hall UNDER 44.5 Receiving Yards
Houston’s offense is an unserious mess. Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades them last in the UFL in offense, seventh in passing and last in pass blocking. According to PFF, Justin Hall is second on the team in routes (55), third in targets (eight), second in receptions (seven) and second in receiving yards (61).
So, Hall is one of the team’s top pass-catching weapons. Yet, he’s not a target hog in a lousy passing attack. Thus, he’s tallied 17 and 44 receiving yards in two games this year, both lower than his prop line of 44.5 receiving yards. Hall is also used mainly in a gimmicky fashion, with a 0.3-yard average depth of target (aDOT). Five of his targets were behind the line of scrimmage and three were short (zero to nine yards downfield). Hall’s usage and attachment to a pitiful offense aren’t conducive to producing receiving yards.
Trey Quinn UNDER 40.5 Receiving Yards
The Panthers are the only team PFF has graded as worse than the Roughnecks at passing. Michigan also has PFF’s second-lowest pass-blocking grade. E.J. Perry has earned their worst passing grade among 10 quarterbacks with at least 20 dropbacks. Additionally, 20.1% of Perry’s 379 passing yards — all of Michigan’s passing yards — were on a 76-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Simms.
Michigan’s passing game is broken, and Trey Quinn isn’t the club’s top wideout. Jordan Suell (61 routes) and Simms (51 routes) have run more routes than Quinn’s 46. Quinn is second on the team in targets (11), first in receptions (seven) and third in receiving yards (48). He had 21 receiving yards in Week 1 and 27 in Week 2. Quinn would have to take a sizable step forward to exceed his line of 40.5 receiving yards.

Anthony McFarland UNDER 32.5 Rushing Yards
The Brahmas are 2-0, and both games were drastically different. They were in control of nearly the entire first game and came from behind to win in Week 2. In the positive game script in Week 1, Anthony McFarland ran for 47 yards. However, he had only nine rush attempts, even with a perfect runout. In Week 2, he ran five times for six yards.
San Antonio’s offensive coordinator, A.J. Smith, is from the school of chucking the pigskin. The Brahmas are underdogs this week, which could cause them to lean into the pass even more. Furthermore, McFarland shares the backfield with John Lovett. The former has rushed 14 times, and the latter has toted the rock 13 times.
Neither running back has been efficient, and the Brahmas haven’t helped their running backs. They’re PFF’s lowest-ranked run-blocking team. Finally, McFarland was on San Antonio’s injury report.

McFarland fully practiced all week. Still, he has a shoulder injury, prompting his placement on the injury report. His work could be dialed back if his shoulder issue hampers his play. Even if it doesn’t, a split backfield in a pass-first offense is a recipe for low rushing yardage, making his under an inviting selection.
