We are back in action with one game this Monday on the WNBA slate as we look to the playoffs closing in. It's been a winning season and with only a few weeks left in the regular season, let's keep it going strong. Of course, as a reminder, I recommend shopping around for the best odds and keeping track of lineup news. Staying on top of news is a great way to stay ahead of the market, and shopping around will help with seasonal ROI. Anyway, let’s get to the best bets for today on the solo slate.

Connecticut Sun at Atlanta Dream
As the only game on the slate today we have the Connecticut Sun traveling south to take on the Atlanta Dream. The Dream sit around a 13.0 point favorite with the total of 159.5 points. Action tips off at 6:30pm at the Gateway Center
On Saturday, I tried to play the tank angle and the Sun went and upset Phoenix. I was wrong. Now we have a similar game where the Dream are gunning for a two-seed while the Sun have been out of the playoffs for a bit. Still, they've been impressive to round out the year. After a historically bad start to the year, the Sun rank eighth in net rating in their last 11 games. Their young players are finally coming out of their cage and they're healthy again.
The Sun also have played much, much worse on the road this year, ranking extra dead last away from home this year. Atlanta has consistently been underrated by the books going 13-8 ATS at home and 28-14 for the whole year. Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard lead an effective backcourt but Gray is listed as questionable here. Still, she's missed two straight games and it doesn't seem like that made much of a difference. I know I said this last time but the Sun do appear to be tapering off from their semi-hot streak, ranking nearly last in every category in their last three games.
With over 34 percent of their points coming from deep, third most in the league, I expect the Dream to sling it from deep tonight at home. The Sun will have an inside-out approach that allows the likes of Howard, Gray and Te-Hina Paopao to hit plenty of threes. Atlanta handled Connecticut at home last time out by 24 points and I expect them to do the same tonight. It's tempting to take the dog here, but I only expect Atlanta to become a bigger favorite as the day progresses.
Pick: Dream -12.5 (-110)
