The 2025 WNBA season is a couple of weeks old, and we've hit the ground running with what should be a great season. We only have one game today - the Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings - but it still is something we can gamble on, and that's exciting for me. I'll be coming at you twice a week - Saturdays and Mondays - to give you my best bets and hopefully provide some winners. We had a profitable season last year, and I hope to do the same for you again in 2025. Of course, as a reminder, you should shop around for the best prop odds and keep track of lineup news. Staying on top of news is a great way to stay ahead of the market, and shopping around will help with the seasonal return on investment (ROI). Let’s get to the best WNBA picks & bets for Saturday, May 31st.

Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings WNBA Picks
It hasn't been a great start to the season for either squad, with each team only managing a single victory to start the season. These two faced off in Chicago earlier this week, where Chicago earned their first win of the season, and now both fly back to Dallas on a home-and-home.
Without trying to bury the lede, the big story of today's game is Paige Bueckers being ruled out after being placed on concussion protocol. That moved this game two points, and it is a near pick’em with Dallas as a slight favorite. Bueckers has already made her mark early in the year as the assists leader and scoring nearly 15 points a game, second-most on the team, only trailing Arike Ogunbowale.
For the Sky, Courtney Vandersloot has been a welcoming boost back to the team, but their offense has struggled, ranking 10th overall early in the year. They are menacing on the boards thanks to Angel Reese and her WNBA-leading 40% offensive rebound rate, but if the shots don't fall, then they’re not worth much.
Luckily, Chicago is facing one of the worst defenses in the league in Dallas. The Wings are coming off one of the worst defensive outputs the league has ever seen, and they haven't exactly done anything encouraging this year to curb that reputation.
Without Bueckers, Dallas' offense will be limited. She opens up the floor with her facilitating, and Chicago's defense, despite its troubles to start the year, should be able to keep up. The Sky managed to win on Thursday despite being outshot everywhere on the court. I expect them to run it back again tonight despite being on the road.
Pick: Sky +1.5 (-118 BetMGM)
