For an exciting game before we wrap up the regular season, the New York Liberty host the Atlanta Dream with the Dream sitting as 1.5-point favorites. The Dream currently sit as the No. 4 seed, with the Liberty one game back at No. 6. This is a big game that will have a massive impact on playoff implications. The Dream’s defense should step up tonight.
Atlanta has been the second-best defensive unit over their last 10 games. They've been elite on the boards, ranking second in that metric. Neither of those stats drop when Atlanta plays on the road. There's a reason the Dream are favored despite playing on the road: They’re simply a better team. Jonquel Jones is a great player, but she'll have her work cut out for her. In two of her last three games, she hasn't even reached 16 on the combined prop.
Paige Bueckers Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+200 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
I'm all over Dallas overs tonight. The Wings visit Phoenix as nearly 7-point favorites and are currently in the thick of things as the sixth seed, but could drop to the eighth with a loss. Offensively, Dallas has been a top-three offense over its last five games, and the Mercury rank fourth in opponent three-point attempts this season. Phoenix is also missing many players, with Kahleah Copper and Kelsey Plum already out.
This may be narrative-based, but I imagine Dallas will lean more on their stars with the importance of this game. In the last game, Paige Bueckers attempted nine shots from deep, and that was against, you guessed it, Phoenix. Tonight, I'm expecting her to do the same. At +200, you're getting great value.
