My MLB same-game parlays (SGPs) are coming off a profitable +3.73-unit week last week, and I was a half-run away from cashing a team total in a second SGP that would’ve added another 4.97 units of profit to my total. Thus, we’re building momentum at exactly the right time, with this being my last SGP column of the regular season, as I look to finish on a high note.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles
- Leg 1: Orioles Moneyline (-112)
- Leg 2: Orioles Team Total Over 3.5 Runs (-125)
- Leg 3: Pete Alonso 1+ RBIs (+208)
Shane Baz has solid career numbers against current Blue Jays batters, holding them to a combined .219/.260/.280 slash line over 73 at-bats. Perhaps the most impressive part is that just three of his 16 hits allowed have gone for extra bases, with one home run.
Trey Yesavage had made quality starts in four out of six outings prior to his injury. But it is somewhat concerning that his average fastball velocity was 93.3 miles per hour (MPH) in his last rehab outing, a 34-pitch appearance in which he did not make it out of the first inning. Yesavage performed his best Harry Houdini act in his only road start against the Orioles this season, allowing just one run over five innings despite working around seven walks.
It shouldn’t be a long outing for Yesavage, but I’m banking on Baltimore jumping on him early and giving itself a great chance to cash the over on its team total. In addition, Pete Alonso is two home runs shy of his fourth career 40-home run/100-RBI season. His 38 home runs are the fourth-most by a player in his first season with the Orioles in franchise history, but I expect him to drive in a run even if he doesn’t go yard.
