How the PrizePicks Optimizer works

The BettingPros PrizePicks Optimizer is a free tool that grades every PrizePicks projection by win probability and expected value, then ranks the board so the strongest picks rise to the top. PrizePicks asks you to call each projection more or less — the optimizer shows our model's projection alongside the consensus sportsbook line and the implied per-leg odds, so you can see which side has value before you lock it into a slip. Filter by sport, market, side, position, or recent hit rate, then choose a Power Play or Flex Play and the optimizer recalculates win probability and total expected value across your entire entry.

What makes a good prop pick?

The best PrizePicks slips pair a clear projection edge with a realistic win rate. On a Power Play every pick must hit, so favor picks where our projection clears the line comfortably and recent form agrees; on a Flex Play you can absorb a miss, so a little more variance is acceptable in exchange for upside. Avoid loading a slip with correlated props from the same game — one quiet night can take down several legs at once. Spread picks across games and sports, and use the expected-value column to break ties between picks with similar win probabilities.
