Kamilla Cardoso Over 14.5 Points (-128)
The day's action gets off to an exciting start with the Aces and Sky squaring off in Chicago. These two teams have already battled in two high-scoring affairs in the last month and are looking to do the same on Saturday afternoon. The books are laying a fairly high total, so it's a good bet to look at some points props.
Both the Aces and Sky are teams that have been playing to the over all year. This is especially true when the Aces are on the road (9-6 to the over), and the Sky are at home (9-4 to the over). This game is the perfect recipe for another game that looks to be played in the 90s.
I'll be looking at Kamilla Cardoso. She has gone over on her points prop in both matchups versus the Aces this season. She did so thanks to volume, averaging 13 field-goal attempts across the two games, which is a decent amount more than the 9.7 she averages on the season. Those shot attempts led to an average of 20 points per game against Las Vegas. So long as Cardoso gets plenty of scoring opportunities, she is going to go over her points prop on Saturday.
Sabrina Ionescu Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-118)
After a slow start to the season, Sabrina Ionescu has heated up from deep in recent games. She's gone over her three-pointers made prop in seven of her last 10 games. A big reason for this is that she's attempting more threes. In her last 10 games, Ionescu has averaged 7.8 three-point attempts per game. She's averaging 2.8 made threes per game in that span.
Against Phoenix, Ionescu should have plenty of opportunities from deep. At 26.8 three-point attempts allowed per game, the Mercury are giving up the third-most attempts from deep in the league. Not only do they give up a lot of deep shots, but their opponents are also making a league-best 36.9% of their threes. Meanwhile, the Liberty are second in the league in shots from beyond the arc.
This is a good matchup for both the Liberty and Ionescu, who leads the team in attempts per game. Phoenix is going to give up a ton of shot attempts, and she is more than capable of taking advantage. In a game where she's going to have plenty of opportunities, this is a prime spot for Ionescu to go over her three-pointers made prop for an eighth time in 11 games.
