WNBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (6/17)

I’ve dissected each of tonight’s six WNBA Commissioner's Cup games to find the best three player props. Chelsea Gray cooled off on Monday, but she still gets an excellent matchup against the Mercury's three-point defense. Then, I explain why Natisha Hiedeman is being undervalued against the Fire, and why it's worth taking Olivia Miles to score at least 20 against the Sparks. Here are the best WNBA player prop bets for Wednesday, June 17th.

Chelsea Gray Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+138)

Chelsea Gray didn't score a single point on Monday, but she also only attempted one three-pointer in the Aces' 30-point loss to the Wings. Before that, Gray made an astounding 15 three-pointers in two games on 23 attempts.

Gray is averaging 2.4 made three-pointers per game, and I think we're getting an excellent price because of her most recent performance. The Mercury are allowing 10.1 three-pointers per game. They're also allowing opponents to make a league-high 37.8% of their attempts from deep, which is great news for Gray, who is shooting 44% from deep this season.

Gray has made at least three three-pointers in five games this season. In such an excellent matchup, the only way she won't hit that mark for the sixth time is if she doesn't shoot.

Natisha Hiedeman Over 4.5 Assists (+124)

Like Gray, Natisha Hiedeman gets an excellent matchup tonight, and oddsmakers simply aren't accounting for it enough. The Fire are allowing 22.1 assists per game, which is the second-most in the league. Since the Fire is also allowing 88 points per game, I expect the Storm to score well above their season average of 76.4 points.

And while Hiedeman is averaging just 4.2 assists per game, she's recorded five in four consecutive contests, with at least five assists in eight of her 11 games.

Considering the run that Hiedeman is on, I would have expected the price for this prop to be around -120. Getting it at +124 provides incredible value. Get in before this is bet down. I expect this price to drop below +120 before tipoff.

Olivia Miles 20+ Points (+126)

The Lynx are the highest-scoring team in the league, while the Sparks rank last in points allowed per game. That makes it simple. I'm taking the best scorer on the Lynx, Olivia Miles, to put together a great offensive performance.

Miles is averaging 18.1 points per game, which is a big part of the reason why her total is set at just 17.5 tonight. But the price for that over is -132, and considering how good this matchup is, I'll take a shot on this alt line for a really favorable price.

Miles scored only 12 points on Monday, but she's scored at least 24 in three of her last five, and at least 19 in five of her last six. While Miles is shooting 54.5% from the field this season, she's shot at least 55% in six straight games, reaching 70% in three of those contests. Maybe Miles will cool off soon, but I don't expect that to happen in such a great matchup.
