Atlanta Dream at Toronto Tempo

Leg #1: Atlanta Dream Moneyline (-265)

Atlanta enters this contest as the strong favorite to win outright against a Toronto team coming off a tough loss on Friday. Washington's Sonia Citron connected on a mid-range jumper off a jump ball in the closing seconds to defeat Toronto.

Toronto would love nothing more than to turn the page after such a crushing loss. However, the Atlanta Dream appears to be the better Moneyline option today.

The Tempo may have the offensive options to compete with any team in the WNBA, but the Atlanta Dream has an enormous edge in size, defense and rebounds.

The battle on the glass heavily favors Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream; Toronto tends to operate with a five-out perimeter model that keeps its frontcourt players farther from the rim. Due to the Tempo's propensity to shoot from long range, this will allow Reese to clean up on the boards easily.

Atlanta has won four of the last six games and owns a 4-2 record on the road. Toronto is a 7-point underdog for this contest, and rightfully so. We will play it safe and take the Dream Moneyline as the first leg of our parlay.

Leg #2: Marina Mabrey 3+ Assists (-250)

Marina Mabrey is a very familiar option for our scoring props in both parlays and prop bets. For this contest, it may be best to take an alternate line for assists in what could be a high-scoring contest.

The Dream and Tempo combine for just under 160 possessions per game, and the line is 172.5 points. A healthy amount of possessions and scoring will work out swimmingly for Mabrey to finish with three or more assists.

The Tempo guard is averaging 3.5 assists per game on the season. Mabrey has recorded three or more assists in six out of the previous seven games. The veteran shooter is averaging 4.7 assists over that span. When playing at home, Mabrey is averaging 3.6 assists through six games at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Leg #3: Rhyne Howard Under 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (-174)

Nothing too complicated with this selection. Four three-point baskets are a huge ask for any player on the road, and we may have a slight edge due to an inflated market.

Rhyne Howard is averaging 3.3 shots per game from beyond the arc on the season. However, Howard is averaging only 8.7 three-point attempts each game. She would have to connect on 46% of her attempts to hit the over, but the veteran scorer only shoots 38% from beyond the arc.

Howard knocked down five baskets from above the perimeter against the Liberty on Thursday. The Dream guard hoisted up 13 shots from deep in that contest. The high volume was directly correlated with being down double digits and trying to mount a comeback.

We don't expect Atlanta to be trailing in that fashion for this contest, which should limit Howard's three-point attempts to around 7-8.

Leg #4: Naz Hillmon 15+ Points + Rebounds (-149)

Sportsbooks seem to be fixated on Naz Hillmon’s season averages while completely ignoring her 31.8 minutes per game average. Angel Reese will likely garner the full attention of the Tempo defense, which could open up tremendous opportunities for Hillmon to fill up the box score today.

Hillmon is averaging 10.7 points and 5.7 boards through the last seven games. She is averaging 1.6 three-pointers per game over that span, and has made at least two baskets from three-point distance in three out of the last four games.

Hillmon has accumulated 15+ combined points + rebounds in four out of the previous seven contests. If you wanted to give yourself a more fortified structural floor, you could certainly opt for the alternative line of 10+ points and rebounds. There is also the option to pump this parlay up with two or more three-pointers, which would boost it to +135.

Parlay Odds: +350

Best of luck with your parlay. Enjoy the games today.
