The first half of the NBA season has concluded. We’ll have to wait until Thursday for some more regular-season action. Between the first half and the second half, we’re getting the NBA All-Star Weekend. The festivities have already begun, while the All-Star Game will be played on Sunday.
After reviewing some of the PrizePicks squares for the All-Star Game, I’ve found a handful of props to consider for your entry.
Like every PrizePicks article, we’ll give our four-player props that you can use for a four-leg Power Play entry. A tw0-leg entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -137 for each prop. A three-leg entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -141. A four-leg entry Power Play will give you implied odds of -128 for each bet.
Getting -128 on the same prop is better than getting -137 or -141. So, moving forward, we’ll stick to four-leg entries.
Remember that a Flex play can still win if one pick misses, but you’d get lower payouts.

Last year, Jayson Tatum led Team Giannis to an 184-175 victory over Team LeBron. Tatum played a team-high 35 minutes and added 55 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to win the All-Star Game MVP.
Tatum is already in this year’s starting lineup with the East. He’s again playing with Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Tatum worked well with Antetokounmpo last year and put together an MVP-like performance. This year, I’m expecting more points in the game. With more points, there will be more opportunities to score. Let’s take Tatum to get Over 24.5 points.
Donovan Mitchell added 40 points in 30 minutes on Team Giannis last year. Mitchell wasn’t even a ball hog, but he was efficient in the All-Star game. Mitchell added 10 assists and four rebounds with those 40 points.
He’ll come off the bench for the Eastern Conference and play with many first-time participants.
The East has Jalen Brunson, who won’t be shy, but they’ve also got Tyrese Maxey, Paolo Banchero and Scottie Barnes, who are all playing in the game for the first time. Mitchell will likely be the player to take over with the second unit.
Anthony Davis won the All-Star Game MVP in 2017 with the Pelicans. He’s older now and was one of the final players to make the roster for the West this season.
This is his ninth All-Star selection, but ultimately, I wouldn’t be surprised if Davis played very little in this game. His and LeBron’s health is essential to the Lakers for their potential playoff run. He will unlikely compete with Karl-Anthony Towns for rebounds and points.
Anthony Edwards was a bit shy in his first All-Star appearance last year. He played 17 minutes and scored 12 points with four rebounds and one assist.
It feels like he took a significant stride this season. He was the go-to guy with Team USA and will have his Minnesota head coach, Chris Finch, as the coach for this game. Trying to get shots up while Steph Curry and Devin Booker are on the floor might be challenging, but Edwards should be the better rebounder of the three and will go coast-to-coast off the rebounds.
