We’re heading into the final event of the 2026 PGA Tour regular season at the Wyndham Championship. 147 golfers enter this field, with high stakes for golfers vying to secure a top 70 rank in the FedExCup for the upcoming FedExCup playoffs.
Cameron Young is the betting favorite in his title defense, sitting at +850 odds in the outright winner betting market. Rookie Jackson Koivun is the second betting favorite this week at +1500 odds, following his dominant win at the 3M Open. Other golfers shorter than 30-1 are Hideki Matsuyama (+2000), Ryan Gerard (+2200), Ben Griffin (+2500) and Justin Thomas at +2700.
Sedgefield Country Club plays host as a par 70 running 7,131 yards. It’s ceded low scores in previous editions, so expect another birdie-fest on bermudagrass surfaces crafted in a Donald Ross design. Greens measure 6,000 square feet on average with a lot of undulation, while expected to run 12.5 feet via Stimpmeter. Rough stands under three inches, but tree-lined fairways will punish errant tee shots this week.

Top 10 Finishing Position
Rolling out a chalk play on Cameron Young to post a top 10 finish in his return to Sedgefield feels right. Yes, he doesn’t have the urgency that most other golfers in this field will face due to the FedExCup rankings, logging two wins during a career year on the PGA Tour, but Young has played well in both appearances at this event, going T22-1 in two trips.
In 2026, Young ranks 10th in SG: Off-the-Tee, 20th in SG: Approach, fourth in total driving, 10th in proximity and fifth in scrambling. It’s why he’s second on par-4 scoring, 11th in scoring average, and top-20 for birdie average this season.
Young has busted out of a four-event slump, where he finished outside the top 20, with a solo runner-up at The Open Championship and a T8 at the Rocket Classic on Sunday. Let’s bet Young to record a third straight Top 10 finish at plus odds ahead of his title defense.

Tom Kim is no stranger to success at the Wyndham Championship. The 24-year-old South Korean won this event in 2022, before withdrawing in 2025 after a 73 in Round 1.
Kim’s win in Scotland during the Scottish Open has him sitting comfortably at 34th in the FedExCup. However, he did manage a T20 during his last outing at the 3M Open a couple of weeks ago.
This year, Kim’s notable metrics include fifth in SG: Approach, 12th in proximity, third in scrambling, and 31st in driving accuracy. This is a strong recipe for a low red scorecard at Sedgefield.
Let’s bet on Kim to post his seventh top 20 finish of 2026 in North Carolina this weekend at +160 odds.

Top 20 Finishing Position
Johnny Keefer has had quite a rookie season on the PGA Tour. The 25-year-old American has posted three top 10 finishes, while ranked eighth in SG: Off-the-Tee and 36th in SG: Approach.
Short game has been the big issue for Keefer. He sits outside the top 130 in SG: Putting and scrambling. However, he can crush the golf ball, averaging 320 off-the-tee, while also fourth at finding greens in regulation at a blistering 71.3 percent.
It’s Keefer’s debut at the Wyndham Championship. He’s in need of a strong performance to make the FedExCup Playoffs, currently sitting outside of the top 70 at 74th.
Since a T3 in Scotland, Keefer has posted T59-MC-60. It’s why we’re landing such a big number on his top 20 finish prop, so let’s take a flier on this young ball-striker and bet Keefer at +350 odds.
