The 2026 Wyndham Championship will be hosted at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, once again to close out the PGA Tour calendar. It’s the final week that golfers will feel the need to deliver a strong performance to finish inside the FedExCup top 70, clinching a playoff berth for the first of three postseason events at the FedEx St Jude Championship.
Sedgefield is a par 70 that runs just over 7,100 yards. Bermudagrass is the lone surface, with rough standing below three inches, and 6,000 square foot greens that will run up to 12.5 feet via Stimpmeter. Undulations are present in tight, tree-lined fairways and on the greens, so these 147 golfers can lean on tee-to-green accuracy or their short game to go low and climb the leaderboard.
Cameron Young is the betting favorite after posting his first career win at the 2025 Wyndham Championship. Behind Young at +850 odds sits rookie sensation Jackson Koivun at +1500 odds, who just carded a win at the 3M Open. I’ve recommended Eric Cole in multiple betting markets this season, including in previous sleepers articles, and he came up just shy of cementing his first PGA Tour win during a playoff loss to Russell Henley at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Cole has gone T14-T7-T74 in three outings at the Wyndham Championship. In 2026, he’s ranked fifth in SG: Putting, 15th in sand save rate, and top-50 in scrambling. Thanks to Cole’s putting, he’s 24th in scoring average and 14th in birdie average this season.

Michael Kim (+8000)
Staying in the 80-1 range, we’ve got Michael Kim jumping off the outright betting page. He just shot a 59 at the 3M Open a couple of weeks ago, while he’s managed to secure consecutive top 10 finishes at the 3M Open and Rocket Classic, entering Sedgefield with momentum.
Kim ranks 16th in SG: Putting, 13th in sand save rate, and 68th in proximity. Previous finishes at the Wyndham Championship include T5-WD-T62. There’s potential here, with Kim looking to end an eight-year win drought.

Kirk is coming off a career-best T5 finish at the 2025 Wyndham Championship. Despite poor results this year, he’s ranked 23rd in SG: Approach, which he can leverage to navigate Sedgefield to wind up with the opportunity to post his first win since the 2024 Sentry.
