The Over is my best bet. It’s at Ford Field, two offenses that can cook/score, and Detroit has gone Over in every game so far this season (5-0, averaging 62.4 combined points).

In the Lions’ last 36 home games, they have averaged over 55 points, with 75% of those games (27 out of 36) hitting at least 51 points. Ford Field is still the Coors Field of the NFL.

Totals of 52+ points are 6-1 Over, and 50+ points are 10-5 this season.
Lions are 8-2 toward the Over as a home favorite since last season.
The Lions’ last seven home games have all gone Over. They’ve gone Over in 18 of their last 25 home games.
Lions after a bye week: 4-0 toward the Over.

Take the free square of the week. Unless, of course, safety Brian Branch returns and completely fixes the Lions’ secondary and/or Josh Jacobs turns the Packers back into a no-fun, run-first offense. I don’t think those things will happen right away, but keep that in mind for Lions and Packers games the rest of the season.

This week's NFC North matchup should be fun. The Lions are slight home favorites with a game total of 53.5 points. We should get plenty of scoring from both offenses, so let's build a parlay.

Detroit's defense is allowing a league-high 297.4 passing yards per game this year. The Lions have struggled to contain pass-catchers of all kinds. They're giving up the third-most receiving yards to opposing wideouts, and the most yards per game to tight ends. The defense is also allowing a whopping 10.2 receptions per game to TEs, a league-high.

That brings us to Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft in the Green Bay passing attack. Golden has exploded for 100+ yards in three of the last four games. He also has at least 95 yards in four of six games this year. Jordan Love is targeting him a lot, especially on deep balls. That's trouble against the Lions.

As for Kraft, he hasn't been as productive. The Packers' tight end is averaging a decent 41.5 yards per game with up-and-down stat lines. However, the matchup doesn't lie. Detroit is terrible at covering TEs. So, lock in Kraft to record 4+ catches and 30+ yards, which are low bars in this spot. The odds aren't great, but they work in this parlay.

Finally, let's round things out with Sam LaPorta, but we're actually going the other way. Green Bay is allowing the fourth-fewest receiving yards per game to tight ends this year. It's a tough matchup for LaPorta, who does have 80+ yards in back-to-back weeks. Still, he averaged just 48 yards per game in the first three.

Count on regression, especially since the Packers have relatively held him in check over the years. LaPorta is averaging 52.8 yards per game in his career vs. Green Bay. Plus, to make things more interesting, there are weird vibes right now with the tight end's recent contract comments and the upcoming trade deadline.
