Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Player Props: Louisiana Tech vs. Coastal Carolina

Coastal Carolina's run defense is one of the worst in college football. The Chanticleers allowed 210.3 rushing yards per game this season (132nd in FBS) while giving up 5.22 yards per carry (129th). They also rank 129th nationally in defensive success rate against the run. We should see Louisiana Tech lean on its ground game plenty in this matchup. The Bulldogs rank 22nd in rushing yards per game and 28th in expected points added (EPA) per rush this year.

There are a number of ways to back this Louisiana Tech running game. Dual-threat quarterback Trey Kukuk and tailback Andrew Burnette have had big games lately, and both could go off. Yet, let's target Clay Thevenin and his combined yardage. He should have success on the ground, but the receiving is an added weapon.

Thevenin led the Bulldogs in rushing this season with 605 yards while averaging five yards per carry. He was also plenty involved as a pass-catcher in the second half of the year. Over the final seven games, Thevenin averaged 32.1 receiving yards with 25+ receiving yards in five of the seven contests. He also averaged 90.5 total yards over the final six games of the season.

Pick: Clay Thevenin 75.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards - Higher (Underdog)

Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl Player Props: Illinois vs.Tennessee

This game should be on the higher-scoring side with two potent offenses involved with a pair of shaky defenses as well. It'll likely be a back-and-forth shootout, with plenty of passing on both sides. Let's target Joey Aguilar and the Volunteers’ passing game in their matchup.

Illinois was much better against the run than the pass this year. That showed in some advanced stats. The Illini rank 128th in the country in defensive success rate versus the pass and 118th in defensive passing EPA. They only faced a few dangerous offenses this season, but struggled against the pass in those matchups. Illinois allowed 292 passing yards to Washington, 364 to USC and 267 to Indiana.

As for Aguilar, he racked up 3,444 passing yards this season while averaging 287 per game. He had at least 275 yards in six out of 12 games. Aguilar took advantage of his easier matchups more often than not, and he can do so again in this bowl game. Though stud wideout Chris Brazzell II will be out, Tennessee boasts plenty of pass-catching talent for Aguilar to dice up this lower-tier Illini pass defense.

Pick: Joey Aguilar 274.5 Passing Yards - Higher (Underdog)

Valero Alamo Bowl Player Props: TCU vs. No. 16 USC

USC's offense will be down multiple players for this bowl game. Makai Lemon and Ja'Kobi Lane have both opted out ahead of the NFL Draft, while tight end Lake McRee is also not expected to play. That's the Trojans' top three pass-catchers, who combined for more than 2,300 receiving yards and 150 receptions on the year.

The absences now open the door for true freshman Tanook Hines to become the top target in the Trojans' passing game. Hines had 398 yards and 28 receptions this season as the team's third wideout. The production wasn't consistent with Lemon and Lane dominating the target share and playing time. However, the increased role changes things. We did see some flashes from Hines this year, like when he had 141 yards against Oregon and 67 yards against Notre Dame.

It's a big opportunity for Hines, who will be playing in his home state of Texas for this bowl. With Jayden Maiava announcing his return to USC next season, Hines projects to be the top receiver for USC. Look for the two to establish a connection in this bowl game to carry it over into 2026. They'll face a shaky TCU pass defense that ranks 109th nationally in passing yards allowed per game.

Pick: Tanook Hines 76.5 Receiving Yards - Higher (Underdog)
